Just had a quick skype message from Martin, he's not too pleased with me says I should of caught these 2 trades which he caught and says thats enough now from EURCAD leave it alone...

He loves cross of the MA and retests then pending order 2 pips above signal candle, actually I think he uses market orders...

Whatever not too shabby are they???

Clive - that's exactly how I trade it, albeit on a slightly higher time frame. I don't use CCI at all.

SO is his signal candle based on a retest of the 35LWMA without penetration, followed by a candle away in the direction of the MA cross?

Yep thats it martin works very much around his 27ema on all charts and basically trades the cross and retest. he says it as the pullback then a positive flat topped candle back his way, with 5 min trend, and enters 2 pips above that flat topped candle...

Glad you're still talking to me thought I might of gone too far with my post on your thread. However you should of heard Martin tearing strips off of me yesterday after a couple of loose entries which by the way worked!!!! But he's a great one for saying even a bad entry that works is still a bad entry....Reckons its the worst thing that can happen to a trader....

Anyways hows your continuation trades going???

Was concentrating on getting this little break and retest of 25 level when all of a sudden it exploded up the page!!! Sometimes it pays to forget about the news:nerd:

This is a good example of a bad entry that worked, certainly didn't intend to do it this time and wouldn't dream of doing it again!!!!

Have not taken one today yet. USDJPY presented the best one, but it was to close to big news, so I passed.

No worries on your post. I am a car salesman, remember. I have heard it all. Customers are downright mean and liars. You were tame compared to a couple of my customers.

Decided to rest today and no trade for me yet. Just looking around to see if anything pops out but most seem to have moved too strongly for me and will rather wait on the sideline. Maybe I should just go back for another snooze before leaving for work. Can't wait to start fulltime trading soon

Its all about trading strong trenders for me and heres a very strong trend on EURUSD post news I know but it still works...

Look at every pullback followed by a green candle just pop a pending buy stop above each green candle after the pullbacks and go to BE very quickly like 1 pip and see if it holds in strong movers like this it very often does.

I just took another 12 pips out of this move on top of my previous 70 odd from two previous trades...

pushing my luck here I know but this really is a strong trender with some positive fundamentals behind it eg bad news release USD.

Well its been going down like a bomb and should of sold it on first pullback but thats very hard to do when you've been buying it all afternoon, but now I'm converted so thought its time to sell it..

First loser there for 20 pips and guess what??? A failed breakout, bloody hate em!!!
