SP500

Are we at a point of impending collapse. I am seeing an EW signatures that suggests that possibility. If price holds here and goes to take out 1895 then price is probably going to new highs. But if we break down hard from here it is likely we are goind down some more. Pretty quickly as well

Hey Olu,

I hope you are well.
It's been a while since I've been on the forums......
We are at a pretty important level on the S&P at the moment. Since she has yet to won't roll over and die, we must follow the trend (as you rightly preach )
So I am looking at this pullback as another buying opportunity.

Reasons:
1) Well established trendline with 5 touches (possibly about to be 6?)
2) We are at the 61.8 FIB retracement level from the last swing up.
3) We are testing the breakout area of the weekly candle (swap area) that started the last upswing.
4) Despite any bad news and /or geopolitical issues this market has only been going in one direction.

A breakdown of this trendline could mean a more serious pullback....or.....the long awaited reversal.

I have no target on this yet......there seems to be no point really.......

Hi MPB Nice to hear from you. It has been a while. I got all the downmove on the dow today which is helpful to my account. The highlights of my recent trades are as follows:

Harvested all the downmove in the dow today
lost 2 trades on cotton (one was an undeleted short that got caught by a spike!!!)
good trades on sugar and crude
a few false starts in forex as well

Yes Danc. Sorry I didnt post an update to the idea. I am at b/e on that one. Also short gbpcad which I put up yesterday and at b/e as well. About adding that is up to your risk appetite. I will usually let the one ride and move stops. The range of this beast is large.

Took a loss on this one last night. However, on the Daily chart you can see that they are really trying to hang onto this trend with that big hammer printing.
I am going to place orders again despite the NFP numbers hitting the market tomorrow.

I hear you MPB. The main thing the on the chart chart right now is the hammer candle on an uptrend line support. We'll see how this plays out there could be more downside still. NFP is a big market mover
