Break and retest of yesterdays close that didn't work out to plan so lost 7.6 pips there but only a small loser so happy with that. Did have a couple of opportunities to go to BE but never really got more than a pip up so didn't bother but I was thinking "its struggling hasn't done what you wanted so GTFO" . When I look now the last CCI wave bottom was a HL or failed drive.
All easy with hindsight of course and at the time you sort of believe its going to go your way as had a nice AB drive down in front of it... Just one of those things but just don't like losers, even small ones...

Having a quick go at this EURNZD entry off of the 100lwma but not convinced as a failed drive in front of it so gone to BE very quickly especially for EURNZD but its either going to go or its not simple as that, not fazed by BE trades at all , nothing ventured nothing gained and remeber price moves in constant waves so there will be another one shortly if this comes out at BE but the next entry for me will be the break and retest of that 1.6025 level no more pullbacks for a bit as its had 3 failed drives now...
As I was typing it toook me out at BE much prefer that to sitting here sweating on whether its going to come back down again and to be honest its looking very reversible right now....
Biggest thing here is after a couple of failed drives give up on the idea of selling above that level wait for it to break and retest...

Had a couple of goes at this Top Trender but its not flying , have to proceed with caution just under these BRN's probably best to wait for either a pullback to 175.75 where there will hopefully be some firm support to take it straight past BRN or a break and retest of BRN, Either way just sit back and wait for one or the other... {image}
The market has since dropped a further 30+ pips since I closed my trade but I'm always happy to take whatever the market gives me.I'm off to snooze and will be back for the NFP report.

Nice one George , thats interesting bacause you're trading the top of the move looking to counter trend trade whilst I'm looking for continuation?? Is that your method trading at extremes of moves looking to grab the quick counter trend trade??? Must have that chat soon as thats a very interesting way to trade for sure...But the complete opposite to me..
Something else I could learn from you is this quick grab mentality as I'm stuck in this "hold mode" mindset.
Must have that chat asap...

See my posting here @ the old thread, as it explains the reason for the trade, and yes we should chat asap. I don't trade the M1 TF but the M5 and was actually expecting continuation too when I noticed strength starting to falter on all YEN pairs. I have the M1 TFs opened on a 3rd screen and then noticed the TMA1 beyond TMA5 as explained in the link I referenced above. I just shorted the GJ again and going down nicely
