Hey Traders!

The month of September is coming to an end, thus i thought i share with you the trades i took this month.

If you looked back the previous pages, most of these trades are highlighted out before i took them.

6 trades as of now. 1 hit SL and the other 5 running.

Green line is my entry price and red line is my Stoploss.

I hope it's now clear to you guys how i trade the trend.

nice trading fartist! ...but how do you protect your treads who is allready in profit? SL to BE? Partial profits? Trailing stop? Something that i realy want to know

I don't set trades to breakeven.

I typically exit one of 2 ways.

A close beyond the 50 EMA or when price forms a higher high against me (if i'm short)

Hi Fartist (and everyone!)
I wanted to keep you updated with my week results as you told me. It has been another good week, with 4 successful trades y 2 stopped out. I decided to work on my exits as you suggested, and I let half of the position run, and I must admit it has been extremely profitable. I set the TP at double amount of pips than the half position,and 3 out of 4 hit it! The remaining one is still running, so it might get to 4 out of 4. It is the third week in a row with good profits (14%, 10%, 13%), since I started to follow your advices, so I am really gratefull to you. I will keep on practising, cant wait to jump into live account.
By the way, nices trades. I have also traded AUDUSD this month twice, it is going really strong.

That is fantastic results! Very delighted to know that

Also with regards to your exit strategy, there's no right or wrong way to go about it. This time you set your 2nd half at twice the TP. But what if you set it at 10 times 20 times or simply trail your stops accordingly? You never know.

The main essence is you need to let your trade run. How much to let it run and how far to let it run is entirely up to you.

Keep up the good work and you're one step closer to the other side, the consistently profitable side.

Hi Fartist, sorry to quote twice the same message but I have a query. When you say "a close beyond the 50 EMA", you mean the lowest Time Frame EMA? For example, if you are trading H4, Daily and weely, you exit when the price closes beyond the 50 EMA in H4.

Hey Gonzalon,

I would usually close when price closes beyond the 50EMA on my entry timeframe.

So if i'm entering on the 4hour, i will watch for price to close above the 50 EMA for shorts.

Hi fartist, hi traders, i hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Sunday is the day in which i usually spend time in analyzing charts and i try to identify currencies (i focus my attention on forex) which fit the "trend trading system" explained by fartist.

I think it might be useful to list products that each of us are watching closely, to share advices about a good situation or warnings about an uncertain one, in order to have a complete picture of the market.

In particular my trend analysis respects the strategy in:

EUR/USD ; EUR/GBP ; USD/JPY ; USD/CHF ; AUD/USD ; NZD/USD

Other currencies could be included, but according to me these six respect very strictly our rules.

What do you think? Any other suggestions?

Hi Davide,

It's a good habit to be reflecting your trades on a regular basis. Especially recording and screenshot them for ease of review in the future.

I'm watching similar pairs as you but do note that eurusd and usdchf are negaitvely correlated, so you'd do not want to be short the eurusd and long the usdchf at the same time.

nice ,we are almost looking at the same charts !! and trading almost the same way ! let the profit run and cut your losses short this is the core of this system .
