Hero calls followed by margin calls...
NZD-JPY, simple little "Where is price going". Now if we can just get the GBP/JPY trade to go right, though I have reduced my risk to just above the left eye.

me to slade, this one never got going. Still a great one, just didn't do what we hoped and you reduced your loss at a perfect point. Price can easily still come down but with nothing else to control our risk that's not my cup of tea

Pls take look on my candidates for tomorrow and advise, criticize . Many thanks.

CHFJPY - uptrend, wedge, breakout, pullback @ 38.2 Fibo (touch), pinbar. Entry on break of pin.

USNONK - uptrend, breakout, pullback, 3 bar high (not perfect) and.... do you think its valid pinbar? I have seen similar lately on thread performing well if scenario was good. Entry would be on breakout.

Hi guys,

I've been following the thread for quite a few months but haven't posted anything until now. First of all I just want to thank everyone who is contributing to the thread! It truly is a remarkable resource with more genuine information than anywhere else I've been able to find on the web and on top of that it's free! Good stuff indeed.

Anyway I've spent the last few weeks/months backtesting my trade plan in forex tester and have had some pretty decent results. I'm also forward testing with a demo account at the same time to ensure the plan works in current market conditions.

But my question is: how many of you use brokers with NY close charts? In my current demo account with FXCM I have NY close but I'm not too keen on using them as a broker. I know I can just use that account for charts and place orders with another broker, but I don't quite like doing it that way. So how important are the NY close charts really?

Worth noting is that I currently only trade the daily charts.

All input regarding this is greatly appreciated!

hi all,
i have been quiet on here as i have been doing a lot of testing.
one question i wanted to ask around BEOB and BUOB
there are many instances where the wicks form majority of the BEOB or BUOB
are these bars more reliable if the body is larger as opposed to the wicks doing the engulfing?

IMHO a BEOB or BUOB should have a strong close in the intended direction. If it closes as a doji or close to a doji then it is basically an indecision bar and worth only as much as indecision will take you.

Would like to hear your rationale first.
Weekly chart shows a break out of the box and retrace back to the box. But no PA to go short unless this is a touch trade.

Daily chart. A head and shoulders brought price back into the box. I can't appreciate PA to go short. My feed is not a NY close however.

took a small loss on aud/jpy just mistiming the HUGE ppz. But luckily nzd/jpy gave us just a picture perfect setup
