The photo is NZD/USD weekly chart (just printed last night) shows a channel from year 2011 to now.
As all of you know the NZ election is coming soon and I supposed it will raise NZD/USD up after the election normally.
The US leading indicator is worse than expected so USD will be going down.

New Zealand's ruling National party stormed to a third term in government in the election on Saturday as the centre-right party secured an outright majority on a platform to continue strong economic growth.


Prime Minister John Key's party received 48.1 percent of the vote, translating into 62 of 121 parliamentary seats and improving its performance from the previous vote in 2011.


National was set to make electoral history under the proportional voting system by being able to govern on its own, but is seen strengthening its majority by renewing support deals with minor parties which formed the previous coalition government.

The leader of the opposition Labour Party, David Cunliffe, conceded defeat, with the centre-left party winning 24.6 percent of the vote.

Well if the same people that is ruling the country won the election that means the NZD will follow the same trend they gave it!!! Remember the RBNZ words "the exchange rate is unsustainable" and that was before the eurusd devaluation... Now the eurusd is cheaper than before and the NZD dont... So i think the trend will remain bearish.

If The Nats didn't get back in you'd see the NZD go down the toilet. I'm predicting a gap up tomorrow.

totally agree with youi am also predicting that nzd and aud are gap up tomorrow.
don't find the correct answer in market. just feel it and follow the wave.

yes we are overall in a up trend my friends, dont forget this. Even this could easy spike into 0,79 on larger timeframes it is alreay a buy.

Not sure what happened... but the headlines appeared on the interest.co.nz website a little while ago as breaking news, but for some reason they have taken it down .
