seriously, buying into a heavy downwards trend after bad news on low liquidity, is not a great trade let alone a 99.99% trade.

i don't think 99.99% of gaps get filled. But a small long for 10-20 pips is not a bad idea. the channel goes down, but the wave inside the channel has a range of 100 pips.

price hit 0.9000....maybe another long with hopes for a bounce.
news outcome will make it more clear.

I would recommend avoid longing at all cost.
unless we get a confirmed candle.
and i pray to god gap traders do not long in the hopes that all gaps would close...

Entirely agreed. Confirmation candle is very important. H1 candle is critical, however H4 is preferred. I got killed off by unclosed gap many years back too when I first trade. Another newbie killer.
The true fact is market doesn't care, risk mgt is important.

If we have an hourly close below round number .9 level, we might test further downside at .88 and .86 levels. If I want to long, I will wait for any sign of reversal.

Never say never... besides AUDUSD has recorded lows in the previous swing low down to 0.89... so really you should be looking for that as the support instead.
