After 20 pips up, it went down to 0.9089. Any idea if it will go up again?
I'm tired of making many samll GREEN pips, then one BIG red wash them all.

We are going up to 0.96 in sept - oct.

Typical global pattern repeating story from past :

IMO, careful there. We haven seen the bottom yet. There are no indication or sign for a reversal. We might see lower levels since we broken several critical support levels yesterday and the day before.
The true fact is market doesn't care, risk mgt is important.

.9 is a round number support. If we have a candle close (at least a H4 close), we might even see lower levels.

Please. look at a larger horizon and dont make a trade entry until you seen reactions in key levels. interpret the reaction if it is a breakout or not. if its a breakout downwards, in a downtrend.... thats a bearish continuation.... meaning high probability of a LOWER LOW!!!

enough time wasted. gona log off, get back to dealing for my clients. being friday, im pretty sure ill be receiving calls near day end for some end of week book squaring orders, as some of my clients have mandate to hedge their exchange rate exposure over the weekend.
anyways just a heads up. its friday. trade cautiously.

Excellent post and fully agree.
There is really no such thing as oversold or overbought in forex. There is only trend or trend reversal. Wait for more indication for confirmation. I learnt the hardway believing in crappy oversold and overbought indicators when I first started out in forex 8 years ago. Newbies please do not fall into this trap.

when market is in uptrend. its great to buy when its oversold and price still above trend.....
but selling something thats in an uptrend thats overbought does not guarantee it will fall down....
you would end up holding it as the loss continues to pile and pile and pile until one day a market correction makes it come back down just for you to only break even....

If US equity markets like Nasdaq, S&P were tradable assets, Short sellers would have had a very very bad time.... US equities have been in a long up trend since forever.... and short sellers keep making noise about how a correction is going to happen.... but when? they dont know.... what they're actually doing is to attract idiot retail traders to short thinking its topped out.... just to find enough idiots to push the market down so that they can buy in mega sized lots.... as they know US equities are still in an up trend...
US equities have been in an overbought zone for a long long period of time.... but in an uptrend, in a bull market.. it can stay overbought for a VERY VERY long time...
