Attached are two graphs plotted from datafeeds from the following brokers:
1nd: Dukascopy

I dont like Alpari's feed because many candles are off by as much as 1 minute! ie, I've seen NFP candle at 8:29AM EST!

Dukascopy on the other hand have more accurate time. However, Dukascopy's candles fluctuate 15-20 pips even on normal quite market condition.

Which of these do you prefer?

It has been many weeks and I have been on/off updating these Historic Chart. Firstly, if you'd notice (or not), I was busy developing a new Historic Chart software (sample above).

With this development, it renders the current Historic Charts obsolete in favor of the new one. However, I am still pondering how do deliver this new charts here.

Initial brainstorming gave me the idea to share the charts in Macromedia (swf) format similar to the one you'd see in this post: http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...61&postcount=8
However, it would be great only if FF allows posting of SWF files so youd' be able to see the charts immediately without having to download/unzip to view them.

Animated GIF is another option, but do not offer pause/unpause control.

BK, im sure i can convince the dev team to make the changes you need to directly imbed the historical charts. i am a big fan of your historical charts and i think its worth making changes to the site for ya! just give me the commitement that this will be a consistent thing and i will make the rest happen on the back end!

One humble request: kindly note the time frame of the chart, e.g. 1-minute chart, 15-second chart ...

ISM MENUFACURING Actual > Consensus: Buy USD
Actual < Consensus: SELL USD

Pls are you trying to say it is more saver and perfect to trade the news. Pls kindly tell me those economic news that have usually have great impact and how to read/ interprete them.

I was wondering the average time of a Whiplash event.Is it possible to add a stop order when it goes one way in the plus ,so if it whiplashes you dont lose money.?

I would like to study the last 10 years of historical data through various business cycles: both price/volume and news (economic indicators, stock specific news, earnings etc.) to understand how the market behaves in different conditions. Historical price and volume is easy to get. Is there any data source that can provide economic statistics like GDP, NFP, CPI, Fed comments vs expectations for last 10 years? Thanks in advance
