Hi, sometimes i used "renkorange" charts (its real name is point-o charts) but never tried to create a good method with it. Do you use it? Feel free to share your strategy here if you want, i'm interested.

Kind of strange I've been using range bars for about 4 years now, but for some reason have never felt comfortable with renko bars. If you have any ideas
I'm willing to listen.

Orange boxes = Price moving within frame of D1
Lower PriceFrame = 6 period swing
Trader's PriceFrame = 25 period swing
Higher PriceFrame = 105 period swing

Caught a nice trade on cotton 101 ticks, still in an oil short thats been slowly drifting lower. Closed the cotton trade when double top formed.

Nice trade. You trade indices only? I'm trying to limit the amount of charts I look at too many right now. I like to make things as simple as possible.
The older I get the less tolerance for clutter and complicated charts.

Now its time to hit the Sea of Cortez for some kayaking, sun, then a good workout and nice T bone

Yes, only indices for now and crude/brent oil.

yes, exactly...it was not the safest trade of the world, but i was already in profit for the day, so i took that trade. Stop loss was just below that low before the entry.

A bit less precision than the usual for today's entries but still a good return, it went well: 30 ticks profit on dow jones.

Hi!

They have been two reckless trades. The first one was not planned for that entry, but i wanted to enter on the bearish pinbar (point A in the image below) and gnaw some tick but the order has not been filled at the level i wanted so i moved my sell limit a bit lower until it has been filled. My initial stop loss is marked as SL1 in the picture. The truth is that i made a mistake with this trade and i didn't want to close it (big mistake) so i moved my initial stop loss a bit upper, upon the second significant resistence level. The second (and last) stop loss was not taken by a whisker...


Second trade, more or less took by following the rules, i bet on the bounce of the bullish move on that level, taken too fast...after there are clear signals of an upcoming bullish move: that bounce on point B would convinced me to join the bullish move.
