Very bad advice regarding flipping through all kinds of timeframes to optimize entry on lower TF. What works for you doesn't mean it's best practice in teaching others to trade properly on higher TF.

I personnaly like to start the setup on H4 ... then switch to M15 to find the best entry according to the H4 signal. So the entry will be with a tighter initial SL ... then I'm back to H4 to manage the exit trying to keep the position as far as possible.

That's my way to get a greater R:R.

I absolutely agree. Every TF has to be traded separately. And if we have an indicator on the chart then we have to either follow it or delete it.

I should've included in my statement not to flip through different TF's unless you're an experienced trader and it is within your system and methodolgy. I don't recommend newbies doing this though. The op asked a question that was indicative of a newbie trader. Cheers FerruFx.

Yes, I also watch 5-15-60M to make a surgical entry. After 5 years of struggling, I found a breakthrough from the following picture. IMHO, that's all about the trading.

That is a very good and true picture. But the trading style depends on how much time one wants to spend on screen watching. Taking surgical entries with MTF approach is very time consuming. I personally prefer to have more drawdown while spending as little time on chart watching as possible. It means that I try to take only the very best trades from H4 and daily TF. 3-4 good trades per month is quite enough to make good living.

I follow the big wave then wave within wave and small wave within midium wave. so i use the holy grail mtf dash, it is help me to see the all wave, when they are same direction.
