I've closed my shorts now, price is stalling around .9288 . I think it may retrace (there is a pin bar on the 4hr chart just formed) before heading further down, but I would rather lock in profits now before FOMC minutes are released - they could send the markets either way.

similar pin bar on 25 & 30 July but that did not stop it falling, FOMC may, let's see.

AUDUSD setting up for perfect short. FOMC was bullish for USD so we could see a nice drift south from here. Expecting to be a smooth ride till 92.00

Not trying to brag at all. I am taking a hiatus from trading until I figure sht out, clear my head, get a job, some stable income, and a normal mental state.

I am not really in the state to be trading, but I've been known to push my luck. My discipline sucks. Everything about my trading sucks. I know I could make it work if I really tried, but it's hard trading with money "you can't afford to lose", and I smoke too much pot, drink too much alcohol, sleep too much, play poker and gamble too much, and never check the FF calendar.

If it weren't for my severe lack of discipline, greed, and impatience, I'm sure I would already have made it by now. These are all reasons why I want to get this EA written, but that's not going to happen overnight, either.

I'll be back when I actually have something to prove to you guys... Until then, bye.

gotta give it time brother, not likely to see any big moves down till london probably, could maybe start during tokyo session but these hours are usually pretty dull. The good thing about these hours though is they are perfect time to get set up into trade.

These are all a recipe for disaster in trading. Good trading is an extension of a relaxed, clear mind free of tension and stress. I've made similar mistakes. At least you realise it, can work on it, then come back when you're in the right mind frame.

yeah I know haha going to take some time I was just trying to encourage it a bit . I didn't get in at that good of a spot but im up about 8-9 pips right now holding for awhile though as I see the au very weak right now and a strengthening dollar.

Chinese data coming up in a few hours may well be the catalyst.

I can relate to that. I was exactly the same. I cannot trade high or drunk.. it doesnt work for me no matter how good my analysis was, i would always deviate from it due to impatience and lack of discipline and so i took a break from forex.. but that didnt fix anything. I still hated my habits..In the end i had to make a choice.. and i chose Forex because that was the way forward. Stop procrastinating and take a stand.
Still struggling to close below that 61.8% fib @ 0.9279
If we do... the next stop will be today's S1 @ 0.9267 - briefly

And then S2 @ 0.9225
