4 Hour Strategy (MACD)

I will try to post some charts based on what I am understanding on the Thread about the system. Here´s a first one. These today charts I didn´t print in the moment I opened an order, but I will do that from tomorrow on..

First time posting here. All of you are doing a great job. Thanks for this and thanks Philip for this great site.

Hope he is following us and and from time to time he will be back with us to share from his experience and from his results in trading.

As you could see I was joining you long time ago. I read this forum entirely. I traded with real money. Unfortunately with no success; loose some of them. Now I gave my money to be traded by someone else. Guess what? No success till now. He is still on minus after more then half year.

I am behind with the results of my trading strategy. I like to trade TC, Zero Brake and Zero Bounce. Last year from my paper study if I would traded only this set ups then I would obtained an average of 116 PIPS/ month only from G/U and E/U (G/U gives better results, in fact the E/U was a little bit on minus). In 2012 I could obtained an average of 237 PIPS / month.

Philip always said that you must know every time how are you staying with your strategy. What results could be obtained from your strategy. In this way you could trust in it and could benefit by every signal it gives to you.

Unfortunately I did not make that pips / month. I was far away from that results. How are you staying guys? Are you making back-testing? Are your results better then them? I remember that Philip made back-testing of his strategy with a program made by someone. I think that if I could not do it be myself then maybe I could do it with a program.

Could someone guide me to that program? Could someone make some kind of program and to test it for every signal give it by MACD? We could find in this way which signal give the best results and what we should trade the most. I think bmgsoares has managed very well with the strategy tester he gives us (thanks by the way).

Hope that I was not to boring and long. We are all here to make MONEY. This is our target. We have 50% chances to make it. The price could go up or down. Therefore we have pretty good chances. Then how we could not do it?

Damn!!! What a start for a lousy week. Got killed in AUDNZD. AUDUSD now running at a loss, was making about 12pips, this morning.

This is going to be a terrible week!

A new SELL entry on EURCHF.

Look at a Phillip MACD pattern: MACD was rising and started to fall near Zero.

Now I got a closing position of yesterday entry. A +40 pips trade.

Howdy Bruno - things been quiet here this last few days but you have been keeping us on our toes with all your charts. I thought it was time to reply to your posts just in case you were starting to think nobody was interested in your trade ideas.

Because there are so many charts to go through, I just wanted to offer my 2cents on each trade.
#28121 EU - Sell taken. Direction is correct & with the trend. Rythym played out perfectly - broke thru the 21 from below , returned to it then found the 89.
You have acted on a RT signal which generally will be a Counter Trend move but this is an unusual one & seemed to indicate an effort to get
back in sunc with the trend down. Price now closed below the 21 again so a more likely trade short will come froma pullback to the 21 & then a
move down . The macd should then show you a nice TC confirmation. Not saying here that the trade will not succeed but we need to see positive
signals that are highly likely to succeed.

#28122 GU - Buy Taken. Direction is wrong. You have gone CT based on the RB shown by Macd. Counter Trend trades are acceptable according to the rules
but be very careful with these. Even the real experienced traders of this strategy show caution on CT trades. Trend is down / price under 89/
RB on macd indicates momentum might change short term at least . Phillip tells us that there must be a reaction from a very strong level and if
want to chance a counter trend trade, it should only be back to the 21 ( or 8 ) . Generally these trades provide less profit so never set your
targets too high and always make sure you are getting at least 1.5:1 RR to make the risk worthwhile.

#28123 UCad - Sell Taken. Once again this is CounterTrend. So for same reasons above we must be careful. That is BRN just above your entry so price has
reacted strongly there in the past . The Macd gave you a nice formation RT so you have played the trade you see.

Anyway Bruno - I guess you get the idea. I won't go through all of the trades . So long as you identify the difference between the CT & TC trades, you will
do ok. Keep reading all of Phillips Lessons on Page 1 - over & over.

One little tip I can offer - always trade away from the 21 and never to it ( unless its a CT ). That way you will keep in the rythym and will generally be in the direction of the trend.

Tks Binnie. U´re rigth about the CT entries. I tried to force these entries to rise the amount or order I take, even its not the system setup. Althought these entries with "emotion patterns" seems to work even on CT. Of course it´s more risky and with low profit probability...

1 Are you willing to risk 25-30pips?
2. Before BRN, market is nearing 365ema on Daily which is also the 89sma on Weekly.
3. 8 ans 21ema gap is getting larger
4. Divergence has appeared
