Spreads are good - execution is nothing like OANDA'S MT4 tho... the difference between ECN and MM, my guess.

Got a demo for cTrader on MBT, demo account for Citi Fx (standard not premium which is $50k to open), and a demo account for ATC brokers and have run them all against Oanda..The only one that was better was ATC.
Citi Fx was the worst, and MBT was about the same but when you add in commission it was worse.
The choices here in the US suck !

Check Interactive Brokers.
If you mainly trade forex, you may find that their platform s*cks and charting really s*cks, but if you trade big enough (ideally 1 lot), you will enjoy best conditions in the US, I guess.
(They have a minimum fee of $2 and charge 0.2 pip, so below 100K, you will pay $2 per trade, which may get expensive for small trades)
(Commission gets as low as 0.08 pip with big volume)

Edit: For info, account opening is 10K minimum

I looked at IB but the demos they offer are based on the previous weeks data ?? I wanted to see real time data side by side with Oanda. Oanda definetly has a nice user interface and ease of use on my iPad , phone and laptop.

No need for a demo, data and execution are unbeatable.
Interface will s*uck on any device.

haha Cogito good one. I wanna bet there were at least 10 minutes between these 2 snapshots. I'm with Oanda as well, and these huge spreads are there for a reason. Just don't trade when these kind of spreads are there.

Right click on your chart and choose properties then go to common an click show ask line.

That way you will know what the spread is rather than guessing, or just get a spread indicator there are plenty on the forum.

Oanda spread is 1.5 eurusd, while hotforex only 1.0.

anyone switch from Oanda to other broker for spread reason?

Oanda is fantastic. Free wire transfers and very fast, i'd give them a 8/10. Spreads could be better but it's not like they're competing with institutional platforms like HotSpot or Currenex.

One simple question from Oanda users.

Once in a while, I transfer small sums (less than $100) from my Oanda Practice account to Oanda Live account. Why this does not work on amounts exceeding $1,000?

You transfer funds from a demo accoung to a live account ??? That sounds great I would love to know how to do this, even for just 100...

Do you mean the MetaTrader 4 of MBT has better execution than Oanda? Or do you mean it has worse execution?

I'm triyng to contact their custumer service and no one reply me.
I sent 3 e-mails in last 3 days and they simple don't reply

I don't think so, they asked me my documents to uptade my account to oanda europe.
I upload the documents in their site but they don't say anything and my account still not validated yet, so i sent e-mails, but also they don't reply.
Will wait one more day, if they don't reply i will need to search for other broker
