I apologize for not very good grammar. I got a lot of questions on PM and forum about PA. I will try to briefly answer all. Q:Experience My experience with the PA can not be large, just learning a few years already and all the time I develop this skill. It is not a difficult task, it requires above all experience. Learning the basics of a few days,...

Now the question should never be asked again.

If it does I would advise them to read the thread.

If you want to be nice point them to the previous post.

Hi Nihilist,

Have you done any tests regarding Divergence with your new indi?

there is another Div in this pic but didn't mark it, because didn't work, PA didn't even close below TCCI.

I was shot on this trade, but closed it via the phone, didnt have your indicators , because of PPA low´s (if i have left it run, target would have been hitted )

Thank you

I would not take it from H4 in this situation. The main task is to take only very best trades when everything confirms. It is more than enough to have a couple of good trades per week when trading from H4.

Well your in profit so it cant be that bad. I would have waited for a better entry with ADX confirmation though. Looking at my chart history it looks like the dhruba and trend cycle indicators are going to eventually hurt you bad if you gamble. Also it looks like there are more than enough 'perfect' entries so you dont need to take chances.

{quote} if H4 lined up with Daily TF then no problem if you take trade on less confirmation, but full confirmation is better IMHO
Ignored
I agree that full confirmation is always best but it is obvious that higher TF can be traded with less confirming indicators as there is very little noise. So, meaning of 'full confirmation' is different.
For example, I see no need to focus much on the MTF dashboards when trading from higher TF. A H4 trade may last for a week or more, a daily TF trade may last even for a month or more. So, it is not too important what all the lower TF do at the moment of entry. During the trade they anyway change up and down multiple times.

But you should use the Trend Filter 1 & 2 with the UltraTrend v2. The filters don't repaint once candle closes.

If you ask how I personally trade then I trade each TF strictly alone. It is less confusing and so far best way that I know.
Trends always start from lower timeframes not higher ones. If there is a really good momentum on lower timeframe, it will be carried to next, and so on. It means, the more we look confirmation from next TF, the more lagging our system is, especially on higher TF.
Matter of taste and personal style, really.

Yes. I use Ultratrend and HG together Nihilist. Do you suggest I replace HG with Dhruba. I'm trading on 4Hr TF.
