Columns (from left to right) are: Date, Time, Currency, News description, Impact, Actual, Forecast, Previous, Revised from, Plotted wingdings symbol (ignore), Color value (ignore), Spacing (ignore), FF event ID

I am not a regular at ff. But I do come across your posts. You are a great guy who helps around a lot.

Its time someone help you in return. I understand you 'quit' spot forex after many year of trying and now you are ' investing' in stock options with a goal of 20% returns pa.

You are a good coder/ programmer but not a good trader. You analyse the market with such a mind and your writimgs reveals that. You need to learn how to trade if you want to be a trader. Take for example a guitar, you make guitars but you are not a guitarist.

If you want to learn how to play the guitar you need to learn from a proficient guitarist or a guitar teacher. The same with trading the forex market you need to learn to trade from a successful trader, and be in the company of successful traders. My help to you is to reveal to you this company of traders where you can learn the good stuff. If you still have this fire in your belly to want to trade successfully then PM me since you have diabled to receive PMs. I can't post openly on this board as ff administrators has deleted all my posts as you can see. ( I don't care and couldn't be bothered about ffs actions.)

You deserve help for the great work you have done here. The rest is up to you. Good day sir.

I can see why ff deleted your posts shame you can't. If you want to learn how to trade fx professionally rather than scam genuine people pm me. Not sure what diabled means lol sums it all up I guess.

Since I am still around I read your post above. An so my reply.

For the record ff administrators deleted all my posts initially but reinstated the rest except the last one recently.

How is my last post a scam? I had my say but there are no links attached. So I lured others to PM me? I am not so free thank you. I already stated in my deleted post to use google power.If you are in the know you should very well know the sites I am talking about. Ff administrators don't want me to promote another forum? That I can understand.

Learn from you? Thanks for the offer but I'd rather not.

Many thanks for your kind words, and offer of help.

I'm a retired investor. I enjoy tinkering with systems but I don't have the patience to sit at a computer for hours at a time, waiting for setups or managing trades. Hence my focus has been on automated or semi-automated approaches. But then all of the problems with build 600 persuaded me to quit MT4.

I'm currently working with a small team testing another system. It's not specifically forex. I'm not sure where this will lead, but I'm enjoying myself, and they are a great bunch of guys to work with.

I'm also experimenting with stock options, like you said.

I've disabled PMs because I get too many programming requests, and people trying to sell me everything from designer watches to ladies handbags.

If I ever return to forex, and your offer of help is still available, I'll certainly consider it.

Yes, I get spammed with viagra offers, and "turn $100 into a million in 4 weeks" forex systems, also.
At least with the viagra, there's a chance that it will work. LOL

1. do you know where I Can find news data from 2000-2006 for non US markets? (I have USA news economic data since 2000)
2. do you know where I can find news calendar before 2000s?

I've uploaded Stealth Master as a standalone EA here (it was previously part of the VO-Pro installation).

Instructions here.

It probably won't run correctly on MT4 builds later than 509, so experiment with it at your own risk. I uploaded it again only because you asked for it. I'm no longer coding or troubleshooting MT4 EAs or indicators, so I'm afraid you're on your own. If it doesn't work, there are many other EAs that will close trades for you at whatever levels you specify.

Since MetaQuotes released MT4 build 600, I am no longer able to do any MT4 programming.

Sure, if you add the extra positions in situations where the probability of price continuing to move in your favor have improved. In other words, it will multiply winners in trending markets, and multiply losses in sideways markets. More info here.

Most of the winning forex systems that I tested tended to maximize winnings when conditions are favorable, and exit losses quickly (or avoid trading altogether) when conditions are not. Of course, this raises the question: how do you know, at the RH edge of the chart, whether the current conditions will continue or not? Which is effectively a way of restating the question as to whether price will rise, or fall.
