Well I have to step out trade is on auto pilot. I have a locked in 20 pips and my profit target set as well. Bulls are still fighting to stay in lets see if they have the fight in them. Up 37 pips at the moment.

It hit my Sl, which was in BE were + 32 pips. with little pain.

Great trade to see, but I wonder why this was an good entry ? despite the fact that previous up move was weak and you also said that you missed the short trade as it was with orderflow. But this long C Aggresive was clearly against strong bearish down move...
I am interested in steps or bar by bar analysis that made you enter this trade...

This one is a trade potential maybe on gbp/yen long c aggresive with abcd. what do you think ? are my readings ok ? the entry price is in the blue rectangle area :=)

Update on the trade. Price action continues to break down for the bulls locked in an extra 10 while still giving it some room. So total of 30 pips guaranteed.

PA is ranging for the pair now any long would have to be managed aggressively.

It was a good demand area plus I had an aggressive C buy opportunity for a CD leg of a potential Gartley pattern. PA showed good rejection and a transition from selling strength to buying. The only thing I did not like too much was the acceleration of price to the downside. I was prepared to exit early as my line in the sand was a close beyond the 78.6 which would have proved me wrong and invalidated the pattern.

I see a Gartly completed with both 38/61 targets hit.

However looking 20/20 hindsight - where would the entry have been made ? Not knowing it was a Gartly at that point and just another move to the upside ?

Looks like bulls are weak on both Short & Long Structure/ Orderflow.

Hey Hans,

You are right that would be a tough bar to enter on. It depends on how comfortable you are with the patterns which is derived from experience, personally i would most likely decline to enter on a bar like that. Although if there is a very strong area of support or resistance i would have more faith entering on a stronger than desired bar.

Question is, is it now time to go long ?
