Hope everyone has had a great weekend so far. We had some pretty crappy weather over here in Yokosuka, Japan so I spent the weekend studying the thread from page 1 to about page 100 and watched a lot of the youtube videos that Mr. Pip as provided. Trying to really nail this trading style down. I have read through this forum once, but picked up a lot reading through some of it again. My favorite post was post #195, quoted above. Serves as a good reminder of whats to come if you do our own due diligence. Mr. Pip thanks for all the time you have spent helping us learn!

Thanks, the quote is real but more importantly it was an even longer road for me as I had to put this together through trial an error and lots and lots of study. I am shortening the gap for you all. I am reading a book now that I strongly recommend it follows a lot of what I have been teaching you.

Trade What You See by Larry Pesavento and Leslie Jouflas.

Its am amazing book with lots of golden nuggets.

Hi Damien,

Just watched one of your exelent videos. I am trying to look at what patterns might emerge when and if price gets to the 61/79 BC Leg
in my chart.

I am currently looking at two patterns either an ABCD to the downside or an Gartly to the upside. Is this correct if price gets to the 61/79 BC Leg area ?

Of course priceaction in that area will determine what happens thereafter. Knowing what was A_B_C_D etc.

Just trying to improve my skills

Keep working it, the more you read the chart the easier it gets. Looks like the Gartley may be what you might see there on your chart. Order flow to the down side appears to be breaking down.

From a PA point of view of Gold, the terrible Plane crash news on friday should have been extremely bullish for gold , we did get the aggressive buying that was sold into , so I wonder if this means for a bearish Gold moving forward

I had another look at the H4 chart ( My idea is to look at H4 but then try to trade 'inside ' those signals -- does that make sense ? )

The H4 isn't a perfect Gartley , but close , so assuming it was then it should go to the 200 ema (on M 30 -edit )
If only it was all that simple we'd all be mega rich -- and i'll admit I don't know the first thing about order flow , yet

just know there is no substitute for reading the whole thread.

i would also search DCASTFX in youtube and watch all those videos then its a bunch of chart time.

yes robuck makes sense to me, I do that all the time, look for higher time frame harmonic moves and take them inside H1

GJ update, stopped out , so closing the day with +5 pips, looking to trade tomorrow

By the way, have you heard about Mr.Pip order flow webinar coming soon?

Good morning traders - I'm looking at an ABCD at 61.8 of the main swing. Price is in the Kill Zone but I haven't seen any evidence from the Bulls. Price moved sharply into the Zone and was rejected but moved a little lower and now is hanging around. Uhmmm. Not really liking that.

The Long term order flow is Bearish. The structure is alittle weak as well. A low which has been violated.

Expectations: Right now, I am looking for a pullback but a very shallow pullback. I'll wait for the retest and guage the strength and weakness of that.

Update:

  1. Enguaged on a bearish bar with 50% rejection followed up with a bullish bar that reclaimed the rest. Entered at next bar open. On review. Entry wasn't ideal and could of been better. should of waited for a retest of the lows.
  2. Held on through some turbulence. Once price moved above entry, I didnt like the look of the weak bullish swing followed up with a strong bearish bar, so I decided to move stops to B/E. Played it agressively since I was against order flow.
  3. Stopped out shortly after. Just before price decided to rocket to PT.

In OPEN zone, a reaction is possible here, so take profits and adjust SL, then TP DZ once there must analyze strengths and weaknesses, to see if we reach the PZR
In TF higher, we expect a price rise.
