One more question - my broker always slips me and drBBMM gets no slip on a pro account in thinkforex. Few posts above a russian guy with standard thinkforex account gets few pips slippage. Does it make any difference on slippage/liquidity providers whether you've got a pro acc or a standard one?

Yesterday I have used the EA for the NFP USA. I have a doubt about a trade in AUDSD, the buy stop activated at 15:29:59 at 0.93852, if I check the close for the candle at this moment the price is 0.93682. There is a difference of 17 pips between the price of my order and the price of the chart. Do you know why this happened? In order to avoid this issue Do you know what i have to do?

Here is my config. The spread has widened and activated your buy stop. The close price is on the line where you can 'sell' whereas the spread isn't shown on the chart. Try including the spread in your orders or make secbmo 0

I wanted to open new account at Thinkforex for my son with big deposit and requested the same condition (less or no slippage etc) as my previous pro account, but my account manager told me that my account was unique and couldn’t be replicated although my son or other persons deposited much bigger than my account balance. Alan111S had told me too before that my account couldn’t be replicated.

On NFP 3-7-2014 I lost on GBPUSD, after I got slippage 1.1 pip and lost 11.1 pip bigger than my SL = 10 pip.
Fortunately I got profit on UJ and XAUUSD so I got net profit 34455.11 USD

DrBBMM, please can you share your EA configuration for XAUUSD. I have an account with Thinkforex, if I she the chart at 15:30 the day of NFP, in may account it will be impossible to have the resoults (as pips) like you.

It seems you got a big slippage on XAUUSD and the fill price was near the end of the spike.
Beside using Amazing EA I also use SNW Elite.
Be careful using small PointsAway setting because widened spread can trigger both buy and sell orders on NFP.
Here's the setting. Where can I find speeches with text released at the start? This is the first I have heard of this. I've deliberately avoided speeches before because rarely can I monitor them for any length of time.

Just curious, how come the acocunt can't be replicated? I've always assumed Thinkforex doesn't slip you because you have such a large deposit?

I don't know the reason either, may be the condition has changed. At the time I opened live account at Thinkforex (headquarter was in New Zealand) Pro account was the best type with minimal deposit 10 000 USD, but now Thinkforex has lowered it to only 2000 USD and the best type now is VIP account with minimal deposit 25 000 USD. I used to negotiate with account manager at Thinkforex in New Zealand, now it has moved its headquarter to Australia so now my account is handled by Thinkforex Australia. I hope my privilege would never be changed by Thinkforex.

Hi LOpg. You have to subscribe to http://ransquawk.com/ or http://talking-forex.com/ to get real time text release of speech or news release. www.talking-forex.com is cheaper £20/month but covers forex only.

very nice Ea with some pretty good ideas. I do have a question.
why didn't you use a single datetime variable instead of those 6 Nyear...Nsec variables?
Did you do it because if you leave Nyear ...Nday at 0 it trades every day?

Hi cetar, Long story short.....a long, long time ago the EA used be Hours and Minutes only so would trade every day at that time (if you left it running) . I added the other time portions on request from users that didn't want to worry if they had left it on. The seconds part came last in case to make it fully flexible. The time set to 0 to trade every day came after I tried it for Breakout trades. However, they don't work well unless the market is really cranking. And guess what the market hasn't been like that for a few years ! Best regards.

Ive been a fan of this thread since the Straddle EA started but never thought that this will thread will grow. anyway its great that its not a straddle EA Thread anymore and its nice seeing everyone having good results with the amazing EA. Can someone guide on where can i start learning this EA? page numbers for instructions , latest version , history if there is , etc ?

Hi there

At the top of each page next to 'Reply to Thread' there is an attachments icon with 168 files currently. You can pickup the latest versions there (4.3.0 is the current version). With the zip comes some text files with what all the settings do and a bit of common issues and setup problems and how to overcome. There is also a change log if you want to know the history.

AUD CPI QoQ ... and trimmed. looks like the trimmed had a lot of influence.

Dear Traders!

Please help! I need a sample code or an instruction on how to code within expert adviser the ability to buy additional lot when RSI is below oversold ONLY if there is already an existing trade. In other words how do I code the ability to add into existing trade???

I am not a programmer. I use wizard, but unfortunately this function (to add more lots) is not supported.

Will appreciate any help and guidance.

The AUD CPI was a bad trade for everyone. I looked at the tick data from several brokers (STP and ECN) and there were NO buy prices until 0.94250. I use a MAX SLIP of 100 points which means I get out of bad trades like these early without any loss or profit as a matter of fact. I normally trade the AUD/USD for nonfarm payroll but for the last three I gained very little.

Thus my question to you guys is, which pair is better during NFP USD/JPY or AUD/USD.
