Ken, interesting to see the differences between spot and futures. the 2nd to bottom box wasn't touched on my chart, but yours was(your red line through the green bar)....2 different perceptions of the same moves...specifically my green candle wasn't touched, yours was...

Can't be same due to rate, volume and stops differences from futures. I can see the order flows bid ask volume and stops as in futures platform but can't make use of it to trade spot because it changes in microsecond before I can blink my eyes. Probably due to the sheer volumes of spot market + the cross pair transactions such as GBPAUD and EURAUD.

understood. but technically, although prices are different, shouldn't the structure match more closely?
in other words, who is getting the 'clearer' or real picture?

Futures and spot have different market players, futures are more for hedgies and spot mixed all. Futures should be clearer due to less volumes and less market participants as to spot.
