GBPJPY could possibly drop to a strong resistance break point now turned important support near 173.50 zone, also coinciding with the lower trend-line support of an ascending channel formation on 4-hourly chart.

Under about 173.8 it's bearish again.

If i am not mistake , i might wish 173.80 or 173.50 zone will hold the position

Took a short position at 174.06, could have gotten a better price at 174.16 though. The next level to evaluate the position would be @ 173.60 and 172.80 consecutively which is my ideal TP target.
Our 3rd push down is complete, 172.80 is the next level to re-evaluate but I think fighting against greed and taking profits is the best bet at this time. Staying in this trade and fighting NY open(which reverses) or moving SL is just tedious. I call it a good week and take an early weekend off. Good luck guys

GBPJPY breaks below an important strong resistance break point, now turned support, and an ascending trend-channel support near 173.50.
The pair now seems to continue drifting lower to test 172.50-30 support area. Looking to initiate fresh shorts.

Your chart looks perfectly clear. This seems to present a different picture though. Here is my screen right now - it's a daily chart.

I agree. Even though I wish things were different and the projections of far greater heights that we read around the time of the recent high were true. This bull move may not happen until September since the yen is so strong in August seasonally.

Over about 173.8/9, the up trend resumes.

Under about 172.3/6 it probably falls back into the 169/170 area again.

I've taken a long from 17,346. SL 36, TP 17,400. Can't see it going higher today.( loads of resistance there - trend line, H1 200ema, 76.4% fib)
