Pip, what exactly is the stop loss and tp rules for butterfly and crab patterns?
Both of them exceeds x which makes it hard do determine

Current trade that I am in. Short EU 5 Min. I took this trade after making a NSL then on the pullback into the 38.2 fib. All though hard to see, the white arrow is my entry candle. After I entered, it made a NSH on the short term order flow. My PRZ is based on the confluence of the 127 and 132 fib, previous structure and the expected CD leg completion. Thoughts? Positive or negative, you won't hurt my feelings!

No fence but you need to be way more picky..
There are patterns EVERYWHERE today and you choose to pick a tiny ABCD on a low tf which doesn't even meet our criteria.
we need to see a 61.8 BC retracement to make sure that we have a positive R:R

its all all good man. I don't trade patterns, just working on ABCDs and AB=CD, you might consider them patterns but I don't. This would have been an AB=CD. R:R would have been the same regardless of the retracement, since AB equals CD. Could you explain how it doesn't meet the criteria?

Start on page 1 and read to page 466. While your at it, swing by YouTube and look up DCASTFX and watch his ABCD vs AB=CD video. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Good morning traders

I was looking at an Aggresive C opportunity in the GBPUSD but decided to pass. The GBPUSD is in a strong up trend. I've been tempted to short several times the last couple of days but market makes a retracement then pushes higher. Even tho I do expect a pullback at the 1.71600 level, I don't expect price to make a full retracment down to the Lower Low or establish a new Lower Low. So the potential profit is less then the risk.

What do you guys think?
