cud u shaare the indicator that shows the up/down (buy/sell) arrows
i have placed all indis you shared earlier on the chart but the arrows dont appear...

Hello Kos i think the reason why thread is sleeping is that the volatility in last months was nearly dead too. I have been reading your analysis all along daily and thanks you explain trend breakouts very well. Best thing i like about you is your consistency with this system. We tend to run here and there in search of grails but i think patience and consistency is the key to success. All the best

The fundamental rule is "if it aint broken, do not fix it"..If you find a system that is working, then stick with it..:nerd:..

its just an arrow to keep the screen more simple and clean, its arrow for xo
put the kos_arrow in your indicator folder and the H1#kos#.tpl in your template folder

apply it on you H1 offline chart
I am still using build 509, I refused to update my mt4

to be able to judge a system of trading you have to trade it at least 6 months or take at least 100 signals from that system
after that you are qualified to sit back and do appraisal of it, to determine whether to stick to it or move on to another one

but people jump from one to the other in matter of weeks because they lack patience

made pips on the short . used team viewer to log into the account and was going to place the basket long but it lagged and didn't make the trade. I'll just have to wait for next week .

Has anyone been successful running this on MT4 v 646? I noticed that Kosomolate said he's not using the current version of MT4. I'm wondering if the thread is now quiet because the offline charts don't work in v646?

I've used offline charts in three other trading strategies and have followed the directions for setup on this thread, but without success. I used two different scripts and experts to force history data download and then manually downloaded from Metaquotes to be sure data wasn't the problem. I have Show All selected. I was able to generate offline charts a couple times but with the template on them it was clear they weren't updating. So I removed and re-installed the MT4 platform and from scratch repeated the process.

No luck.

Does anyone have suggestions for a fix?

Hi Kos,

Major news(usd unemployment claims) causing c14 huge u-turn from long to short!

on this type of situation whereby during major news, how you manage you trade?
you will close trade before news or set BE +pips?

Change your mt4 to older version. Cancel autoupdate And follow steps.

There are those who know how to fix the version issues here or those who have fixed it on their mt4 please apply this H2 template, save it and post it for others to use. I understand perfectly the frustration of trying to deal with mt4 as LEO is going thru now. In fact that is one of the reasons I refuse any kind of updates from alpari and thank God they are not forcing me, I still use build 509thank you as you do sokos
