My own view, worthless as it is , is that: I think the Ozzie goes higher. I think gold goes higher. I think bonds go higher. I think euro goes lower. I think yen goes higher (U/J lower). N/U, I am a little confused but I do think A/N goes higher.
They are probably going to ramp equities into quarterly ES expiry this week. But I have learnt to be patient, as I said last week I think they are going to let the air out of the balloon very slowly.
I have no clue what I'm talking about.

Yes BW. Over the weekend I can look at the markets with any stress.
I agree with you on gold just cant seem to find a good place to get in yet

Looks like a clear reversal mate, here with a small position should work.
Not sure if you do options but you could sell some naked OTM puts on GLD if you want to be a little more conservative, or perhaps get long GLD here and sell an ATM call or OTM call.

I am too; I think there's a very good chance we see 10% (or more) come off the markets in the next 6 months but saying that and capturing it even should it happen are two different things.

You are right BW. The number of great calls I have made but not profited from are to numerous to count. But I am getting better now. A lot better.
I really want to sell the Russell2000. I find that when markets go down this index really tanks. Traders punish the smallcaps before the large caps

I too want to see more negative price action in this area before committing as there might be more upside in store. I have been calling for some upside in the eurusd over the last fer trading days and we got it today. Glad I got some of that otherwise today would have been a wait and see day. By proxy if I expect the euro with all its problems to go up the pound with positive fundamentals could follow

Tried to play the upward breakout idea overnight. It didnt work. I was a false break. I therefore donated some of my account balance to the forex cloud. Read the markets wrong there

IMHO gold is ressuming the bear trend. I added to my short (after I got a heart attack when it reached the 1280-I thought the retrace will stop between the 60-70 area but it didnīt), looking for 1200. Cheers

It appear so you are right here. I nearly got a heart attack seeing it at the 1260 level as I was expecting more upside. Unfortunately I have not joined you to the downside as I don't have an analytical handle on gold right now. I need to look at it some more on an end of day basis to see what I want to do

I remember your sentence : gold is an animal to trade! Trading it reminds me of the American movies of cowboys when they compete to ride wild horses (donīt know what that is called in english)

I think the word is 'Rodeo'. But I so understand what you mean. That was why if my idea worked i.e

That was the plan

Cad Futures (inverse of usdcad)

Price is in a channel at the moment and so the first target is the lower channel boundary. A breakout above the channel will seriously invalidate my idea of a downmove

My loss on gold is way too large than my win. I will let you know when I reach BE, that if keep surviving doing "Rodeo"
