Hi FF folks,

I have been here since Nov 2013 and would like to share a strategy which has given me the confidence to trade on my own.

Any feedbacks or anyone spotting a possible next entry setup is welcome to post.

As the days goes by, I will post more pics for better use of this strategy.

Without further ado, I present to you The Semaphor Bandit Daily Strategy.

More Details:

Timeframe: Daily for less risk
Currency Pairs: Any
Other Instruments: Gold and USOil. Stocks and Indexes are not yet tested.

Thank you for this interresting method, is there a count for the engulfing bar ? :
and can you attache the SM_BPCT indi wich appair on your chart.

Hi nonor,

Thanks for your feedback.

There is no count for the engulfing bar.
To spot an engulfing bar is to wait till the candle close for the day and verify if the candle touches both the white and green lines.
Once you spot the engulfing bar, open your position. That should be 0000hrs GMT for the next day candle.

Always close any open position when you spotted a new Semaphor level 3 indicator at the end of the day. Hope that helps.

I have also updated the template after I deleted the unused objects. You only need the indicators on the first post.

Thanks for sharing your system, I trade with semaphor as well on the daily, fairly similarly to you. Could you please let me know which indi is the one with the two lines in your chart.

No offence just for the sake of back-testing. I have heard in the past the Semaphor repaints but I have never used it. I was wondering if it really does that. Because if it does than there is no really use back-testing this system by scrolling back. The system looks good though with the explanation and picture examples given above.

It's not the system, not the indies, it's you, my friend. With growing confidence in yourself you will be able to make profits regardless of any lines on your charts... And these are in most cases only distractions. Btw, semaphor3 is just the same Zigzag, with three different steps, not mention useless snake. Just don't be burned and fail not with first loses. Always have confidence and don't listen to anyone, especially here or any other forum.

Hi unimak n all,I have limited access to my pc right now due to am at work but I try to answer your post as best as I can.All ur entry candles are correct except for the 2nd pic u need to wait till the next red candle engulf both the 2 lines, then u got a good entry.GL and happy trading.Ps: will post more tml when my work off day.

how do u deal with the repainting of semafor ??

Hi unimak/all, regarding semafor repainting or not we can be sure of 2 thibgs before entry.1) the engulfing candke or entry candle must touch both white and green lines. This shows the intend that the price is ready for a reversal.2) the white and green lines must be seen as wide apart not too close with each other and then the entry bar engulf both lines. Its the perfect entry. I will show more pics by tml or u can observe my pictures these two conditions. GL and happy trading all.

You are right. I try using H4 but it did not work as well as daily where u have a solid price axtion for reversal.

Follow the RED line,when Stochastic cross 80 or 20,make the trade.
White line is repaint,you can see both them were upper 80 didn't cross.

Well depends on what you consider as successful :-) I am not too greedy so a target of 50-100 pips with 0.2 lots instead of 0.1 is enough for me...

Yes it is a valid setup and good entry. I already enter at the signal bar when it engulf the 2 lines. Remember to include SL from the low of the signal bar.When the signal bar is also the engulfing bar, you may enter the trade but I will category this type of entry as type 2 risk. In total there are 4 types of risk whick I will go thru in this forum later after some personal projects.
