30 year bonds.
I reckon the bond bull won't be done until the markets have cracked. I have a feeling more cautious investors have started to, and are going to continue to load up with, more and more 10 and 30 year bonds as the end of the taper, currently probably about 4 months away, gets closer.
Does anybody else trade them? TLT is the related long bond ETF, albeit not quite the same duration.
Seems 135 is a key level. Hoping for 140 and change in the coming months.

That's a great wedge on USDCAD but I have a feeling that it's going to go sideways for a few weeks. DX looks like it's consolidating before either a continuation or a reversal.

Hi Rehab. You could be right. The (e) wave in a triangle structure can be very small compared to the rest of the waves and is the most susceptible to news etc so nothing will surprise me. I didnt see the H&S you pointed out on the chart but as you know back then I was highlighting the inner triangle. Its all good as long as it puts $$$ in out accounts. Since all you guys have started contributing to this thread my scope and understanding of financial products has increased in bounds. Hope the account balance follows the same pattern

You might be right about that wedge. I dont like the price movement on the usdcad- too much back and forth movement. I only know that long term it is going waaaay up hence I use for looking for XXXCad pairs to trade. i.e pair it with a stronger/weaker currency and trade accordingly

I have talked about this strange phenomenon where bonds are rising (yield falling) and at the same time stocks are rising. Something's gotta give and I dont think its going to be the bonds.

If that uptrend line goes though there might be some downside action. Incidentally when the trendline goes the support level goes as as well so this price are will be heavily defended/pounded.

This means we need to factor in the possibility that the whole downmove could be just a correction and price could go much higher if further action is not seen. I am looking for 3800 area tops but if not then one could factor in the possibility of more. First 3675 must be taken out
