DislikedVantage i need that cci(210) indicator to upload to my chart. I dont have it among my indicators, only gat cci(14) clive histogram...kindly attach it for me here to download. thanks in advanceIgnored

Looking closely at both CCI indicators, they maybe the only we need to trade...I have been keen on the 5m chart and 15m as well...but 5 mins should be an earlier signall(prefer that) We buy when cci(14) is above the 100 level and sell when cci(14) is below -100 level. Preferably on first cross of the zero level for better rr ratio and catch the bigger move. We set a sl of 10 pips n keep trailing it by 10 pips until we are stopped out. Can someone write this as an EA n we demo it???
Then about trend following, we only take trades when both cci's have the same color. the more chart color on CCI panel determines the general trend.here we can qualify trades below and above the zero lines as well since we are trend following.same trade mgt like above.
I hope to get someone to write me two EAs of the above and i try them on both 5min and 15 min....anyone here pliz
i already hv an EA for trailing stop...I just dont know how to run both at once..haha..

Clive - I wouldn't get hung up on any particular MA. Probably true to say that the big boys look at the 200 but I'm sure if you pick any random number and put it as an MA on the chart you will find places where it is respected. Good luck with the new venture.

Yea right and about 100 places were it was completely ignored, eh Handy148???
You won't believe what I was typing just as you posted that comment ,I was in the middle of reviewing my latest "loser" and was fast coming to the exact same conclusion as you MA's aren't respected all the time but when they are we say "there you go that 100/200/50 MA worked perfectly", but unfortunately we tend to overlook all the other hundreds of times price cuts straight through like a knife, don't we??
So if they work sometimes but not other times how can we know which ones to trade and which ones to leave alone???

I was in the middle of reviewing my latest "loser" and was fast coming to the exact same conclusion as you MA's aren't respected all the time but when they are we say "there you go that 100/200/50 MA worked perfectly", but unfortunately we tend to overlook all the other hundreds of times price cuts straight through like a knife, don't we?? So if they work sometimes but not other times how can we know which ones to trade and which ones to leave alone???
I think we are getting into a can't see the wood for the trees situation here possibly. Clive in search of the perfect/catch every move method the point is getting missed i.e. the trend method works, for buys price above ma's cci 210 hit +100 next abc entry. Reverse applies price below both ma's and cci 210 hit -100 next abc for sells. Reversals might need some tweaking but still tending to think wait for these rules to play out.
I suspect you need to make a decision along lines of I'll trade the above scenario period. I'll only look for other set ups once I have proven that they will work the majority of the time from my research and forward testing.
Take a deep breath, simplify, trade a few set ups for the rest of the month? Do not under any circumstances add onto your method!! Prove that it works before you go off on a tangent, you WILL NOT get something that captures every move from 1 min. The brokers bank accounts are there to prove it.

Will take your advice and just trade for a while.
I feel this thread has distracted me from my trading, I was doing very well before I started this thread.
Not giving up on my 30 day goal though will still work towards that just need 5 pip profit from each market open.

AUDNZD possibly setting up as per the Advantage trading strategy. About 10 pips away from hrly 100sma and 15 min CCI looking to give a sell signal so maybe it is going to reverse.
Put a pending limit buy on 100sma just for a laugh but the best way would be to wait for 1 min trend to reverse and buy first HL. But one way or the other its worth a punt.
Best to wait for the last LH to be taken out then buy the first HL if it materialises.
This is quite a nice set up as well as the hrly 100sma we have yesterdays low plus the 25 level of 1.0975.
But against it we have time of day but there again our American friends are still there and maybe the London boys will have a quick bank of thier days work before they go home , who knows.
But worth a punt for 10 pips I guess.

If you had sold when the buy signal came and bought when the sell signal came, all these losses would have become profit?
Yes thats very true and not the first time its been suggested here, Dannyboy beat you to it Im afraid.
What do you think would of happened if I had actual taken the reverse signal?? Bet I would of lost,and do you know why??
I know the rest of FF community are watching my trades and as soon as I buy they sell!!
They're out to get me, I know they are!!!!

None farm payroll today and this is the kind of early trade I'd like to get in and get out of asap.
CM showing eur weak and the strong currencies clear, I thought euraud and ej were gimmies on this method and 15 pips on my 2% risk comes out a fairly painless 3% trade for 15 mins work. Good separation on ma's, -100 all the way on 210 cci, I still feel this is a little gem you are sitting on pls stop messing around, focus on whats working almost every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
