Lower retails sales, less business investment, and fewer housing starts over the last several months suggest GDP is going to miss. Could result in softer tone from RBA as well. Think AUD will drop below .92 this week.

Afternoon gentlemen. I am quoting a couple of posts of mine from April 29/May 1, 2013 here (when the Aussie was around 1.03). The reason I am posting is because history may be about to repeat itself..

They say the best way to predict the future, is to look at the past. I would encourage you to pull up a Gold chart next to an AUD chart. It speaks for itself. Prequel, is the word I like to use.

Gold dropped her panties again last week. Silver has also obliged on a lower scale. This will have a flow on effect for the Aussie. The key support is 0.92. We will break below it within the next few weeks for a sharper move down below 0.9 again. Depending on how low gold goes, we can make a more accurate prediction. The million dollar question is, how high can we short it? It will be worth keeping an eye on the TL's for the best r/r. This is a smaller move than the one I quoted above, but the same concept.

In the longer term, Gold below 1180 / silver below 18.22 is the mother move I am waiting for.. I would expect one more bounce before these levels give way. Aussie below 0.8 not out of the question.

Opening multiple shorts from here. Stops @.9295 or lower if it keeps being bullish during London. Waiting for U/Cad breakout north today to take AU to .92.

Optimistic comments by RBA fueled the pair towards important resistance level of 0.9275, breaking which the pair can lead towards 0.9305 - 0.9310 resistance zone. However, on the down side, 0.9260 and 0.9245 can be considered as good support levels.
