imo 1267 resistance
if resist then bear is still intact.
If break 1267 then 1304 next resistance

Mr. G, appreciate your updates, really useful. My question is, do you think the the price reached already the target after the triangle break-down?
My calculations indicate 122x but again, we would be in the larger descending triangle (second reversal point in August 2013, ready to develop the 5th leg down with a touch at 116x...)
that would make sense, but, but... anyways I am short at 1248 ready to buck this market

Been rigged for quite some time just like the S&P500 has been. We can thank the Rothschild for this.

How on earth can the majority be short only to see market direction go up? How on earth can everyone be bullish only to see market tank? Like watching a car move forward while the passenger has it in reverse as the wheels spin to move the car backwards.

-this morning a break into 1250 was attempted twice but closed always below 1250....this close below 1250 causing me to think we will keep dropping
a break and close above 1250 will get 1260....otherwise we keep dropping....
all week we get lower lows and looks to be completing this ab=cd
a=1392
b=1277
c=1331
d=1217 next down target

ever since its been ranging
may 2014 hit resistance at 1.6995
-5 yrs it took to range and hit resistance
are we dropping to 1.5706 of oct 13, 2009
so for now 1.6460 of march 23, 2014 is next support
then 1.6250 of feb 05, 2014 next support

Not sure G, nothing doing lately on this one. But couple levels on larger tf. Nice to see Elbert here, I know he watches it too.

I still think down.....
but this pa was very telegraphed. Close above 1250 gets 1260. Well well.
Whats next. A quick drop back down to 1251 means what now?

Since the March and 2014-high near 1388, Gold (XAU/USD) has fell to 1240.50 in May, but has found support there. XAU/USD 1H Chart So far in June, price has respected this 1240.50 low. The 1H chart shows xau/usd consolidating above 1240 for a few sessions. Last week, after the ECB announced its stimulus plans, gold rallied from this consolidation. We also saw price action test the price bottom, which traders treated as support. From purely price action perspective, gold looks like it is setting up for some short-term bullish attempt. In the 1H chart, the momentum is turning as well. The 1H RSI has tagged 70, and is holding above 40. According to Andrew Cardwell, the RSI guru, this reflects a bullish momentum developing. If price can push above last week's high and 1260, the 1290-1300 will be the next key area to monitor for resistance. Note this is where the 200-day SMA resides, and was the central pivot area during April and May's consolidation. A break above 1300 will be needed to revive any bullish outlook outside of the short-term for this week. XAU/USD Daily Chart However failure to push above 1260, and a dip below 1246 should put pressure toward the 1240 handle. Below 1240, the 1217 support/resistance pivot area, the 1200 handle, down to the 1283 low on the year, could be in the scope of the a bearish continuation scenario.
