Hi Strat,

sorry to keep pestering you with questions on your thread. I want to ask a question about all the PASR trades shown in your recent posts. Of course when price closes below or above the Strat shadow, it's a a nice time to go short or go long, but it also looks like there are numerous fakeouts on the charts. So surely pips would have been lost on them?

There is much more to it than that. We have to QUALIFY how PRICE closes above or below the Strat Shadow which filters out most of the false moves. Since nothing in trading is 100% there are times when, even after qualification, the move does not work out but overall, our winners far exceed our losers.

A very easy, stress free 200+ pips trading PASR from resistance back down to support. PRICE may yet go further into the support area but given the current market conditions, we don't want to push it.

We now WAIT to SEE what PRICE does in this SUPPORT area to PLAN our next trade. With SUPPORT from our 2 higher time frames, we "expect" PRICE to at least hold support. With PRICE testing the ROOT trend line for a second time there is the possibility that the 6 week trading range "may" be broken this time.

Hi Strat, may I ask a question? On FX4Real's chart it is a BUEB, but on your chart it doesn't appear to be, is this correct? Also I'm demoing with 2 seperate brokers right now and on both of their feeds it looks totally different and there's actually a gap present. Let me post it. Why can the candlestick charts appear so different?

Pipdreamer, The forex broker you are using doesn't open and close in true alignment with the New York trading session close. and your forex chart uses 6 daily bars per week instead of 5, simply because they also include sundays in their forex chart. That is why your chart is different from mine. So, you need not only a forex broker which closes at the end of New York Session as their daily closing time, but also a forex broker which uses 5 daily bars per week. hope you'll find it informative?
