Richter's a genious. He can do anything, from fotorealism to abstract paintings. I once went to an exhibition of his, and it was AWESOME, to say the least.

Too bad I can't see the documentary on Netflix (I live in Spain).

Good Art, Bollinger Bands, Confluence ! Good thread !

All i have to mention about EUR/USD - that we are now at the center of the weekly Bollinger and the bottom of the daily. Will see if it will give some reaction....
Weekly Bollinger is very flat and the bottom of it only 250 pips away, but there is a lot of confluence lines to brake. Very strong Bears needed.
If there is no reaction to the center - bottom of the weekly Bollinger can be reached. I prefer to be watching, and taking just quick scalps. Will see what will happen

I had no idea you are from Spain powerhouse of ART.
From Goya,El Greco, Velasquez to Juan Miro,Picasso and Dali.Very rich history.I am glad you like Richter.Very thought provoking artist in subtle way.

I love Art and I look at Trading as Art form.My latest inside is power to wait.Wait for right set up wait for right trade.
Think like an Artist.Artist does not randomly paint he/she gets inspired from right subject -landscape,still life ,life model and starts working.
In trading one should not be in the market for the sake of it.
Right set up brings the edge on your side.

I get lot of email about my Bollinger System so I will post it here since my older posts I can't edit.

Bollinger Band System

Set Bollinger band everything default except change deviation to 2
Set 2nd Bollinger band everything default except change deviation to 3
RSI 8
When price is inside 2nd and 3rd deviation on Daily chart and RSI 8 is 70/30 then you have a strong signal
Best pairs are that range a lot.

As with everything discretion is must.Don't trade wrong side of impact news and don't neglect following fundamentals.

So you enter based on Daily or you time it along with H1 and H4....how do you set entry and exit points?

No offense but trading is about paying attention.
I highlighted in Bold Daily on description and my chart is on daily.
Exits are up to you.I aim 80+pips generally

So sorry, I didnt mean it like that, I do see you on daily....however I am just trying to compare it to my system, see I always use 3 Bollingers with 2,3, 4 deviations, I look at daily for the direction, but I enter in the H1 charts only in the direction confirmed by the daily and H4.....so basically I am out when market retraces....

Just coincidence I came to listen Marty Schwartz interview perhaps best trader ever.
The guy who borrowed 50k and made to to 600k in 1year.
In interview he said sometimes he would scale in a position referred as averaging in.
Made me happy because that's what I do.

Also he used MA's which proves its not the MA's don't work but how one applies it.
I use 20MA on Bollinger Bands.
