I'm not quite sure what Connected is on about at least in terms of the server environment; on none of my 5 accounts, all of which are on the older Live 1 and 2 servers, have I experienced the kind of issues he's citing. Freezing and platform disconnects haven't been an issue since last spring/summer when it was overloaded with clients before the addition of Live 2. Since then ICM has acted preemptively by adding Live 3 when its client base grew further.
As for the support staff, I've never had problems with them and they've usually been helpful, but as with virtually any support staff roster I don't doubt that you can encounter a bad, or at least unknowledgeable rep every now and then.
