but i should tel you that i manually put stop loss or closed the position when it was in profit, sometimes the TS doesn't work properly that needs

Only two days, but I'm quite happy with the results. I'm running 24 pairs, so I can
cherry-pick the best of the lot after my test is completed. Agree with the above
poster regarding the TS. I have a couple of floaters that I'm going to close out
manually, instead of letting them get chewed up by the TS.

Seatrader888 your EA appears to be turned off try clicking the Autotrading button on your trading platform, I think you'll get the big smile instead of that frown
Hmm, i try backtest using default settings...no trade. did i miss anything? or it does not work on backtest?

Your coding idea have catch my attention, so i've read the whole thread and also downloaded the libraries. But those on post #1 have not been upgraded to please the latest mq4 coding rules; so metaeditor complaint with endless errors list. The '.' have to be replaced by '_' for example; and there are some others '$' & so on to been fixed first before compiling the EA itself. So i wonder if the EA really use these librairies ? (will see later on compiling/testing ). Note that all coded EA now should send order with the ecn style (2 steps: order sent first, then after checking that the order exist, set the sl & tp).

As my own contribution to improve that counter trend advisor:
- when an order is placed, why not also sending one or more pending limit orders to catch some pullback (with a time expiration indeed)
- to detect the real trend: see the big picture on W1 tf, then compare with lower tf to know if it agree with w1. Setting a ratio "daily pivot/weekly pivot" (set it external to find the most secure level while testing), in fact 2 : one for upward trend & one for downward trend). Note that each pair has its own historical volatility; meaning that custom pair settings have to be found & used. When done, its easier to follow the lower tf (m15 for example) with a sma5/sma8 cross (or else)
- each pair or pairs group have its own main market hours, where you can find the ranging/volatil activity. So the trading hours have to be set for them.
- and finally, knowing where price has high probability to bounce (long trend channel) help to place good orders and trailing closer (let the ts far away when not near support/resistance).

Here are my first comments before diving deeper in the code. More post later.

I am backtesting your EA. Very impressive. But sometimes it will destroy the whole account. Have you any idea to deal with it? Or at least make maximum drawdown like 20%.

And I have also dealt with the path problem. Put all of them in your MQL4\Experts directory.

its' quite hard to code but developing a strategy base on what you described it hell a lot harder. And it is so complex with dealing with those kind of support and resistance zone & decision.

I try to make that coming for next version but for v66b, I think I need more time to re-do. So busy with day job and more thing in my head for next version.

as promised before. from the feedbacks you guys gave me.

    1. entry condition has been changed

  2. improve close order logic decisions when feels i'm gonna money, something are considered to close

    1. how fast you losing (pips/bar)
    2. how long the order has been alive
    3. RRR

  3. emphasize on reverse trade direction,

    1. stop loss on reverse has been removed REASON: back test result show significant losses in many times

  4. more settings (Setting explanation describe here)
  5. add experimental "hedging" strategy but will be turned off by default in this version, user can experiment the hedging strategy

    1. but trigger condition to go into hedging with still sucks
    2. my hedging strategy also sucks
    3. use at your own risk

  6. Build 646 compiled
  7. AutoMagic function is the same, REASON: you are able to resume bot session after restart MT4, if using random number, you are screwed to close all open trades before running.
  8. all default settings, give shown back test result. settings have not been optimized for neither DD, balance nor %win.
  9. 20% DD still an issue for me. User must pay attention and make intervention.

I am unable to test Mayday 0.2.0. It will not compile in my build 625 platform. When attempting to compile, it shows 58 errors.
