So the idea is to trade an account of live funds and at some point give away all the profits!

April 28th is the Pay It Forward international day, so that seems like a logical starting point but ultimately, I would like to sweep the account and start afresh every month.

I figured to make it have some meaning I should give some to charity but for something fun too, how about a treasure hunt
I grew up in the 80's where there was £10k Cadburys Egg hunt, where people had to solve cryptic clues etc. I was too young to get involved but it stuck with me. I also like the idea of random acts of kindness, so even if I only made £2.50 one month, the least I could do is buy a homeless person a hot drink.

It would be a UK / London thing to start with and I'd probably do a social media thing too.

Anyways, now that I have said it on here - it should serve as a motivation to actually do it for real.
I have a meeting with a broker on Thursday so this may actually happen.. woop woop

However, the last 12 months I have traded and proved to myself that I can keep churning out the trades. I need to be trading a bigger account if I am going to go full time, so could wait a couple more years or I could do this instead and feel that I am making a slight dent in the world of wealth disparity. Plus I am a strong believer in what goes around comes around, so in someway I'll get the true value back.

Great news. The more people to say it the more motivated i'll be. Hopefully we can inspire each other and come up with some creative ways to make people happier.

This gives me an idea on sharing the idea with IBs on giving commission for a good cause!

I am meeting (fingers crossed) with ActivTrades, they have given a day but waiting to confirm a time.
My idea is to collaborate with them on other media projects but to see if I can pitch them this idea too.

So meeting went well - was able to project my abilities and match their requirements, for their idea.

Slightly different reaction when I brought up my idea.

Somehow I need to get around the notion that this is a cynical attempt at something ulterior motivated. Or worse a gimmick.

Probably best I just do it some how and even if it's smaller than I wished for, just have some fun with it and try and bring a little bit of joy.

This might better paint a picture for the broker who could easily arrange for a video production team to produce something professional and then they would also be able to "use" it for their own positive promotion.

yes still trading. Still trying to work out how to do the original intention of this idea without it being deemed cynical.

I've made a start - so when I have something worth 1. giving away and 2. in an entertaining way, I will.
As a person, I feel like I could make a small difference as a community we could make a big difference. I am just trying to figure out how.

I think I may try and make a living document via Youtube and then when people see what can be achieved maybe they will be inspired in some way to trade for a reason rather than for entertainment
The broker I approached has let me work with them so I am hoping that after a few months I can slip this idea in again
This idea is still on! and as it's the first week in January 2020 I am more determined to make it work in 2020.
I am working hard on finding the right partners to help create and drive this forward, whether that be brokers, social media, companies etc. whilst also trading my own account.
The landing page on my web site has my current track record and I am in talks with people to try and get a bigger account off the back of my results. Though I still need a few more months of profitability for some, to show I am worthy of investing in.
I am also thinking of what I would rather do with the money - should I just give it away or should I give it in a way that then helps someone for longer than that initial offering, eg. should I try and maximise the amount of ROI on each £. One way would be to give a starting sum to a homeless person to fund a Big Issue job.
Still a few months to go before I can do anything meaningful and maybe years before I can do anything life-changing.
I just wanted to get this back online and at the forefront of my mind, I find it helps to write something down and then re-visit the words. Somewhat more real than just keeping it in your head.
