Disliked{quote} All of these phenomena can be easily predicted and understood using a very basic understanding of the market. They are tied to one's education - understanding them teaches you how the IT creates them, which in turn shows you how to predict everything else everything else. If you're studying bouncing balls, you'll have many different things to consider depending on origin, force, trajectory etc, but in essence it's all ruled by gravity. So there are many aspects to price movement, but they can all be predicted very simply by the rules the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Mate, It depends on how you define it. If high or low breaks and failed to return, its an FTR. But if an important high or low breaks and fails to return, its an FL, if a FL is engulfed and failed to return its a FL too. If you define FTR is and important high or low engulfed and failed to return , then both will be same .We can put it this way, FTR is a cause (it fails to return). FL is the effect (it limits the flag). {image} I didnt hold this trade. dont have the ballsIgnored
DislikedThat's certainly a lovely way of putting them together technically There's tons of confirmation in there! However, once you get down the rabbit hole, pattern recognition becomes a thing of the pastIgnored

Disliked{quote} I guess you know what 'engulf' in itself is. What can be engulfed: a FL, a Key-level, a FTR. When either of these are engulfed price might go to the origin of the move. An FL should be a pause after an (extended) drop or rise of the price. See below which is one of IF's examples at the very beginning of this thread: {image} In the red box you see an engulfed FL, then a FTR is formed which turns into the origin of an upmove. To the right another FTR is just being engulfed after wich price is 'free to fall'. See the other pics. I think it...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for the info. This was about using engulf PA for origin of the upmove. So, what is the rule of for confirmation of entry ? It just should engulf FL, FTR, SR level or anything else ? I tried to find origin of the downmove. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I studied the M1. For what its worth here is my analysis: {image} And I think you level was correct. I wonder how long you would have hold the trade say you would have shorted at your arrow.Ignored
Disliked{quote} From what little i have digested so far, you analysis is correct. Enter short at QM or FTR level, SL above upper base, TG - base of the pole as you marked. But that's what you can see on this HTF, need to look down to M1 to see the details. The devil is somewhere there I don't know if im getting it though. Here is my trade using RTM concepts, any comments are welcome {image} Aaaaand it's gone! (c) LOL that's pure luck getting into the right direction of US GDP data i guess, but neverhteless a good trade. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I think IF should show * in front of ENGULF in marketpedia. It is very important and necessary subject.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I agree. I would also like to read which engulfs are important and which are not. Also the difference between true engulfs and FOs. Im sure this all is present on RTM forums. Marketpedia is just an introduction, the true education is on forums.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes, possibly. But from reading forums it is hard to know "who knows", because "everyone" gives his/her opinion on subjects.Ignored
