Hi Shomari,

I would like to know what is the correct setting for these three? And what are they supposed to mean? I play around with the figures and find out the red/green color will come more frequent in other settings.

i notice that in each case, risk > reward substantially.
can you throw some light on how this might work favourably in the long run ?

The trend filter on the left bottom corner is showing 5M=Green, 1H=Red and W=Red...The question I wanted to ask you is how to you go about trading this situation....Please advise...Thank you so much...

Wow it has been so quiet.. didn't think this thread is still alive.

Chienung,

Green = Uptrend Red = Downtrend.

As you may know already, the trend is your friend.. so this indicator basically tells you which time frame is trending. So for this pair only the 5M, 1H and Weekly is trending. Trend is define by SMA100, SMA50 and SMA30 all parallel point up or down (depending on the trend.. with good angle and separation. As for how to trade this..the short version is price need to retrace back to the SMA50 SMA30 area and form a rejection candle to indicate that price wants to move with the trend again.

Hytten....Thanks for answering...But I am confused to different time frame trend... For example, on Samansadeghi XAU/USD 1H chart..... 5M Chart has green=up,
1H has red=Down and Weekly has red=down as well... In this scenario, which time frame is more suitable to trade???? Please advise.. Thank you...
