Hello frocus.
Thank you for your work. It's the Profile Indicator I've seen for MT4.
Just some suggestions :
- I can't color each session : is that normal ?
- Should be possible to add Volume-Profile?
- Should be possible to put the Merge Profile (Composite profile) on the right side like this :
- Is it possible to put a Vertical Value Area draw like this?:
And last question, what does VPO mean?
Again, it's the best profile i've ever found on MT4. I'm going to use it. Some modfications have to be done and it'll be a perfect and professionnal tool!

Dont think so. As you can see, I already have Market Profile and Composite profile for my broker's charting software so I don't need it.
But...but...I think that MT4'users should have efficient MP's indicator, that's why I wrote these suggestions. And you do not make sense because

Weren't you here couple of weeks ago asking for a volume profile indicator to be edited? If you didn't need it why keep suggesting it?
I don't understand where is the contradiction. Yes, It was me and so what? No, I don't need it but I think it'd be nice to have good stuff on MT4. What's the problem about?
And what makes you think adding volume profile makes mp more efficient?
It doesnt make MP more efficient...It does make trading easier and more efficient.

Where may I find the volume profile you have to the right of your chart? I too use VP not MP. Would like to have an updated VP like you have suggested. If you would kindly attach the volume profile indi you have to the right, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Because "HVN&LVN nodes" has nothing to do with auction process its a totally different subject. I think the senior members of this thread already beat this issue to death

Price * time = Value. Original theory explains that a balanced area is de facto a high volume zone because sellers and buyers find that range price cheaper to trade it. (excuse-me for my english)
Consequence? HVN is being because of that market activity. On the opposite, when the price squeezes quickly a price area, there is no market activity, there is not a lot of flow. You'll see a LVN on your Volume Composite Profile OR YOUR Market composite profile. It's all about auction market process.
Think about : a Volume Composite Profile 100-days is like a Volume profile 1-day, 1-week, 1-month, 1-year, etc. or even TPO-100 days, 1-day, 1-week, etc. There is non-sens where you're saying that it has nothing to do with auction process.
So now, why would I choose Volume profile composite instead of TPO-profile?
TPO profile on FX isn't optimal for a simple reason. Market activitiy is poor because of the X_session. For instance, there is a lack of liquidity on the asia session for EURUSD. So, what's the problem?
The problem is that the price makes balance area > You think that it's an accepted price-range but iit's not > there is not activity. Y'll get some fake-poc on your daily profiles.
Here is my trade on USDJPY. I've posted a picture before to show the importance of composite profile. Now, I post same chart with TPO-profile composite instead of VPO-profile Composite.
It's almost the same. OK, I couldn't take the trade because price did'nt impact the LVN but it's not big deal. Use only TPO if you want to.
My concern is to have a good composite profile (Volume&TPO) like on TSII.
