DislikedI have looked at FXPro, IC Markets and Divsa versions of ctrader. I made an algo in C sharp to monitor the spreads and my results indicate that IC Markets have best EUR/USD spread followed by FxPro then Divisa. I have not tested slippage though, this will be part 2 of my test which I will conduct this week and update.Ignored
Disliked{quote} if what you say is true, then how can this be a straight though processing platform? smells like a scam to me,if it where really a STP platform and nothing else it would just be the spread from the real market, if multiple brokers have different spread in Ctrader can only mean that they can manipulate price and spread,so then we aren't really trading on the "real market" with the same trading conditions as the Banks, that would be false marketing and a scam wouldn't it? I have been considering using this platform my self but now I am very...Ignored

Disliked{quote} I don't see that on cTrader website. I don't think any of the US brokers are allowed to offer cTrader I think because cTrader allows hedging and according to the wonderful CFTC rules, hedging is forbidden in the US. Yup! They are really trying to choke off the retail Spot FX industry in the US with their three-pronged restrictions: FIFO, No Hedging and 1:50 leverage.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Spreads depend on what banks a broker has connected to the platform. That is all. There is nothing suspicious about it. cTrader is now available through MB Trading. I have opened a live account and traded. The fills are extremely fast and the quotes are good. Their site says that they expect to add more liquidity partners to the platform as they become compatible. cTrader truly is the future compared to MT4. Glad to see MB pick them up.Ignored

Disliked{quote} yes that looks good and they are definitley listening to the traders trying to make the software as good as possible, big plus! but they messed up with the tick charts in my opinion, they just go up to 34 ticks, personally I would like to see up to a coupple of hundred ticks, it makes no sense why they are limiting them to only 34 ticks. would like to see range charts alsoIgnored

DislikedAll of you have to understand one thing: there is NO true ECN out there... The real ECN will be the fully regulated market like stocks, futures, etc. What does ECN assumes? It assumes that we do not dealing directly with a broker and the quotes are provided from the other traders within the system! If I place a buy limit order @ 100.25, you will be able to sell me at this level, simple as that. NOW, do you really think that a particular broker have enough liquidity to keep the tiny spreads most of the time? NO. Think about the futures market for...Ignored
Disliked{quote} it is not true. {quote} True ECN is only a matter of technology. Regulation is a good thing in general but is not realated in any way with trading conditions, technology, orders matching and ECN engines.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Your ideas are too old mate. ECN is not sth cosmic or utopic, impossible thing))) Its just a technology that enables to access pool of liquidity. Thats it. Retail forexers dont even need Interbank market or whatsoever...for us it's just enough to access liquidity enabled through aggregators such as Integral, Currenex etc. Now, cTrader brokers (normal ones) enables access to very liquid market with ECN. Yes, true ECN is possible with brokers like FxPro and ICMarkets. EUR/USD spread on these brokers??? I have never seen spread over 0.5 on...Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} Guys, You make me laughing when you attempt to tell me what the ECN is ) I agree with you! Did I argue that it is not just a technology? Or that it is not simple and straightforward? Of course it is. Do you know any forex broker personally? Well, I know. The friend of mine owns one and described quite well all that process, which is different from the advertisement, lol ) Yes, there is a pool of liquidity (created from the orders within that particular broker - which is not liquid enough to maintain tiny spreads at all times)....Ignored

They look like the biggest scam looking shit bucket forex broker I have every seen! So before you come on here being some big dick perhaps you should trade with a decent brokerIgnored
