I am out for now, waiting for more people to cry SHORT, just seeing the masses switch bias a bit to LONG now it seems, I only go against the masses when 70%+ of them look for one direction, then I go into the other, you can count on that this will be a winner Thatīs "anti social trading", and it works

You simply gambled on news being positive.It could of been negative sending this poppy 100pips down.
It has nothing to do with "everyone" positions are basically 50/50
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

Aussie positions are pretty much equal with slight bias to Bear.
There is no 70%
I suggest you collect your money and be respectful of other traders.Nobody here is "crying"

0.95 is expected to be hit.

If RBA doesn't talk down this pair again, this pair probably will reach 0.97+.

0.94 short failed with tight stops. I add a little long order and try to sell this pair at 0.95. If 0.95 breaks, I will long this pair again until RBA talk down it.

long term aud not competitive at 94-95 price

this will cripple the manufacturing for good.

You are right, positions are basically 50/50 and I do not think that the "consensus" opinion has any merit in a trade, but you are not entirely right. I hold the firm belief that the technicals can very well predict price action and even upcoming news announcements, provided that you know how to interpret the technicals correctly.

Me saying "up" was not just a stroke of luck. It was me reading and interpreting the AUD/USD chart correctly, 15 minutes before the news came out.

Plus, you should at least congratulate the guy for banking a well-deserved 54 pips of ez money . I don't care whether his reasoning was right or not. He made money, and that's it.

Itīs no rocket science really, just see http://mechanicalforex.com/2010/09/t...-myfxbook.html The level of AUDUSD shorts / longs is currently 78% short, 22% long. So my long bias absolutely stays, really nothing else to look at than that as it simply works in over 70% of the cases and thatīs absolutely enough to make money

These two pairs have had very strong momentum...data at this point is not stopping it...as you can see data comes out....drops a bit and just creates more buying opportunity.

Charts can't read data specially unreleased ones.Like you said 15 min prior of news release.Well that's simply not the reality.
Today for example prior of FOMC 2pm prices fell over 50pips in 1hr 30min 15 min charts at exactly 2pm prices shoot up..Reality is we don't know the content of data best we can do is anticipate the outcome based upon fundamentals even then it is still hard to say "I saw it on the chart" Perhaps after the news its easier to "see" but not before.

it might not see 9500. the yearly pivot is 9450. It hit 9440 and bounced down
