Some clients have reported difficulty logging into their trading platforms via Android and iPhone apps today.

We are currently investigating this issue and will update you when we have resolved the problem. In the meantime, to place trades please telephone our Dealing Support team on (+44) 207 426 2950.

Logging into your PC or laptop

To log in using a PC or laptop please navigate to File>Login and enter your login number and password in the usual way.

In the server box you may need to type the address manually. To do this, highlight the server location and manually type in the IP address that is correct for your server.

Still obviously having major problems. Website still down and problems now it seems with emails.

Lack of information and customer service is staggeringly bad with Alpari.

I put a withdrawal request in on Tuesday.To date my request it hasn't gone through. Rang up today to be told they had never received it even though I got the acknowledgement email to say they had received my withrawal request the same day ( Tuesday ).

The girl working in the withdrawal department said she would send me a withrawal form by email straightaway. That was 3 hours ago and nothing received.

I have been with Alpari for 5 years now but seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. I would strongly advise forex trader NOT to place any further positions with Alpari untill this current situation is resolved.

I just hope this current situation will be resolved shortly and that it doesn't go deeper ( ie: the current situation between Russia/Ukraine and tit for tat reprisals for possible sanctions pending )

I'm sorry if you feel this way. We do try to assist our clients with their queries, whatever they may be. However, at times certain issues are only confined to a select group of clients. Consequently a post addressed to everyone isn't always as appropriate as an email to the affected clients.

Alpari UK has many thousands of customers, and we pride ourselves on the excellent service given by our Back Office in processing payment requests, over 99% of which are remitted within one working day of receipt. Any suggestion to the contrary is completely without foundation.

I have 2 internet connections. With one of them i can open http://www.alpari.co.uk/ but not with the other one. MT5 and MT4 are running without problem

Changing my DNS settings to Open DNS address got me back

Yes, normally the withdrawal process is quite smooth but this time it didn't go as smooth. It's taken me 3 requests now. Let's see what happens.

I had a withdrawal problem once using MyAlpari which I think this was system related. Anyway I explained the next day that I had not received anything and as a result had been charged for various reasons by my bank. I was expecting a good will gesture from Alpari but got nothing. I would never put all my eggs in the Alpari basket.

I do have a question about the MT5 platform. If I add to a position it always combines the 2 into 1. If I want the 2 positions to stay separate is there a way to do this?

If you did not receive your funds, then the bank clearly cannot charge you for services related to this. Why would you expect a goodwill gesture? Could the bank charges be related to other features of your account?

The position size for each currency pair is aggregated, which means that all the orders for one currency pair are netted off and combined into one. MT5 platform does not allow hedging.

The funds were not received. My bank had payments going out already. There were not enough funds to cover these outgoing payments. So I hoped Alpari would cover these charges as they messed up. They did not so I was left out of pocket.

Still find it rather difficult to fathom how you would expect a broker to pay for bank charges on payments you authorised in spite of not having adequate funds in your account.

It’s rather sad really, blaming some eminence grise for charges incurred. This is something of a common thread with all traders – and I am certainly no exception.

If I have a good day, well it just underscores what a genius I am – when I have a bad day (and I have plenty), then usually it is because of something/someone/everyone else.

Either my English is bad or your ability to understand simple statements is lacking.

Let me break this down for you.

1. I asked Alpari to send me money.
2. My bank tried to make payments but there was no money. These were regular payments which go out each month.
3. I realised the problem was Alpari did not send the money as I had instructed them to. So these regular payments failed.
4. My bank charged me.
5. I contacted Alpari to complain and told them I had been charged by my bank.
6. I expected Alpari to cover these bank charges BECAUSE if they had sent the money when I asked then none of this would have happened.
7. I tried to explain this briefly on an internet forum called Forex Factory.
8. For some reason someone read this to mean I wanted the bank to pay me.
9. I tried again to explain what seems like a simple scenario.
10. Now this guy seems to think its all about psychology and trading wisdom.

In summary:

I instructed Alpari to send me my money. They did not. As a result my bank charged me.

Are we depriving some village of its idiot?

It’s our responsibility to ensure they are funds in our account prior to any (regular) payments going out. No financial institution will accept any liability for delays in payments. If you find any, please do let us know.

I gather you would not want to further this and prove that you did actually fall out the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.

I am happy to continue proving your illiteracy and / or ability to apply rational logic to my explanation.

I instructed Alpari to issue a fund transfer from my trading account to my bank account. I received an email telling me this was received and would be actioned if received before 3:30pm which it was. So the funds should have been transferred the next day. They did not arrive because Alpari F'ed up. As a result of Alpari F'ing up I got charged by my bank. Yes this was because funds were not available. Yes I did know funds would not be available which is why I instructed Alpari to send me my funds. They did not. It was their error which caused me to be charged. If they had sent the money as instructed then I would not have been charged. And I would not be trying to explain this to an idiot on the internet who either has Alpari tattoo'ed on his ass or has some serious character flaw which requires him to make people believe that everything which happens to them when other people F up is all their own fault. You keep believing that High.Fiving.Idiot.
