the fact that China economy is showing some sign of slowing down exactly when USD is strengthening I believe it is not a coincidence. However, if US recovery gains momentum, the overall sentiment is for a better world economy. At that point you may start betting on smaller economies such as Australia or emerging markets. Such scenario should be beneficial for China too.

Agree, today US data triggered Risk-on probably nothing much for Asia because Japan is on holiday but ASX +.33% up to this post

Hello everyone, looking at my charts I think I'll be looking for a test of the descending trend line and some type of a topping formation around it for a short term trade. What do you all think?

I see the downside limited at 08990. If it really wanted to go south, should have done that during yesterday Asian session following FOMC meeting. At the moment I only see two possibilities: 1) consolidation at these levels or 2) north

When in doubt play both sides, one could look for rejection at the .8990 level or something right around there and go long or do what I talked about.

In any case price needs to start moving in any direction first!

we should stick to our trading plan.
for a/u, pb shown up yesterday, retraced from 20 MA, long is favoured.

let's see how it turns out.

aud long favoured atm with a clear break above 9060 should enable its upmove to be maintained. Tight support at 9035

The AuD/USD looks like it is grinding higher and higher as each week goes by
