yep well it seemed that excitement was short-lived... I'd moved my SL to BE so no harm done.... (coulda grabbed the +5P but I thought it might head further north...)

Can't tell as of now, seems that .9130 levels holding well as resistance. Lets see what FOMC later on show us.

It appear that price has failed to breached .9130 and now falling back below the important .91 level. If we close the hourly under this level, bulls beware. We might retest lower levels.

yes ssm my long failed and so I thought maybe the sentiment had changed.... it appears it has... so.... now I'm sh au from 9104, SL to BE, and from here it can do what it likes, but I'm seeing more bearish action, albeitwith the usual carry trade support...... what are your thoughts people?

FOMC later on. I will wait for the market to tell me the direction. Sideline at the moment. Nevertheless, .9130 is an important line to watch.

If u are bullish on this pair right now you have to be bearish on the USD IMO

yep as i suspected. Break out above a monthly downtrend just to have taper bandwagon come back to invalidate the breakout. this is a huge monthly rejection on the downtrend....
i remain bearish.
nice fakeout though, lots of bull got caught longing thinking we have a confirmed breakout above.

also did you guys read the FOMC? Yellen was way WAY hawkish.... literally abolished the unemployment threshold for interest rate rise, and just use unemployment as the only threshold...
thats one less restriction for Dollar Interest Rates to rise.... instead of looking at unemployment & inflation, now its JUST inflation....

For anyone trading the AUDUSD, Bulls dont go Long until we break out above the downtrend.

Bears we are not really in a uber bear but we are in a bearish downward wedge which bears are still advantageous. but watch out for rebounds down around 0.86xx areas where the lower downtrend line is at.
Todays down move from FOMC is a BIG NONO for AUDUSD to gain. huge rejection on a test of the downtrend. AND a fibo resistance got rejected too....
Bulls better start covering your longs....

It was a rhetorical question out there to the traders who were high on AUD last night. Passing that peace pipe around hoping everyone else would smoke it.
