Same issue. Essentially the $ is not ready to strengthen yet. Imho we are close to when that is going to happen but it is best to trade reality more than opinion or vague fundamentals

Price dropped to demand then back up to resistance. See if it can fall now and have recent demand level break.

I agree trexy. Then it would be no harm done as the h&s will not confirm. So no trade. Secondly the blue line will be broken as well which will be the early warning that the idea is wrong. If the h&s confirms I will take the trade whether China is good or bad. I have missed many trades because of over analysis . In that way more discipline and mechanical emotionless trading will take priority. The markets imho knows about China so if it wants to push up aud I will not try to stop it. Will just try and profit from the idea.This is my thoughts. Hope it helps.Olu

I agree Formaxinvert. These possible H&Ss are all over the place so much that its unbelievable. That is why we need to wait for the confirmation i.e break of the neckline as patterns can change very quickly. I have put many possible H&S on this thread and only a few of them confirmed. Those that did were mostly profitable. I like the gbpaud one though. I remember I put up one for euraud and it hasnt done anything but go the wrong way. As eurgbp is going up gbp is underperforming the eur so the gbpaud might just give us the pips we want.

FXCM USD double bottom. do we see break through this daily resistance line, or is it going to be another drop down to 10370 area? Im personally bullish, but I guess its too early to say

Often HnS are continuation patterns and we see that with the HnS that broke the neckline in October but which then reversed in a continuation of the prior move.
No way of knowing of course how things will pan out this time.

I see the upmove too Formaxinvest. I think the second double bottom spike below the first bottom adds credence to the validity of the bottom being formed. However I would like to see more structure to this bottom. Taking out 10615 will do it for me.
