Good morning all! what are your plans for NFP today? I don't expect much volatility like the past 2 nfp's due to the 'bad weather' syndrome that yellen's been talking about and i expect it will be bearish... I am thinking of short UJ but haven't decided yet.. any opinions?

Yeah, i hope UJ will break that strong resistance and continue to target 100pips and then 200 pips last time(NFP), i had slippage but i hope better trade, bulls are COMING ) LAST 64 minutes...

Yep, it's going to be big I suppose. I am bullish on the USD, my 1 million demo account is at stake.

Yeah, it's all damn speculation. If you look at a different time frame you can make up whatever you want. Is the glass half full or half empty? What came first the chicken or the egg?

perhaps the risk you used wasn't efficient for the tight stop losses, the calculation i used allowed for at least 37 losses based on 5 pip stop loss before having a lesser potential than a 10 pip stop loss on a 120 tp win; the 1:24 RR based on a 2% risk allowed for such a scenario to be valid.

hmmm I subscribe to the economist and have been reading up on reports as well.. i guess if lower volatility and bearish momentum is expected it would be such a case if it was indeed bearish however if it was a nice bullish report it might go flying.. and perhaps a long might indeed be worth the risk as usually unexpected moves are more profitable. decisions..!

Alright I've made my decision; based on the fact given that market has already taken bearish positions against the USD there will be not much room for profit even if it is indeed a bearish report, the bull on USD on the other hand has a chance to catch the market with it's pants down and rain pips. expect mr whipsaw!

Just remember that demo accounts don't have slippage. That might come as a surprise when you move to real money account

What I love about USD/DKK is that it is the 100% inverse of EUR/USD.

So even us suffering from FIFO can still hedge this baby!

hehehe people are starting to fill the room in here. Guys I'm a smart gambler. I will buy USD/JPY regardless and stick to the formula because I know that one day, it will hit the jack pot. I don't want any deception or regret for being unorganized. If I don't stick to my plan, I will blame myself all week-end. Keep in mind that the system normally gives you an edge. Also keep in mind that the price will go up 50% of the time and down 50% of the time. Please make your own selection. My only suggestion is to keep an SL lower than 20. Do not ruin your life today.

Sound advice! All my stops are now below 20 pips but I hedged this baby. I am long AUD/USD, EUR/USD, USK/DKK and USDY/JPY.

Advice that will make you act seriously. Open a real account with only 10$ if you want, but real money. You will notice a change of behavior. Your brain must be in a mindset of real money. Even if you lose cents, you will feel bad. Unlike losing non-existing money which will not bother you.
