do mtf pivots or other mtf indicators work on your offline charts as im having difficulties on the current offline charts

help! last night i changed a few settings in !TLE_2XO_B6 in metaeditor, then reverted it back to original but now the T101 is permanently messed up no matter if i do a fresh install with a different broker even. i have even tried a few different installs now with the original !TLE_2XO_B6 file and this error is showing up across all installs now: if i change market read to long, range, or ctlong it will immediately open a buy basket! i checked the !TLE_2XO_B6 over and over and it is set to the correct box size and there is currently no buy signal...

i am using the !tle_2xo, with some minor modification, but it is working well . i had some issue on win8, somehow the program started from a different location (appdata\roaming\metaquotes....) but after i copied the EA, and my indis to this location, was working.

thanks : ) i tried today and it seems ok now(?) do you know of a way to edit/compile build 500 indis and eas for use in 600? when i compile in an old version of of metaeditor it only produces an mql4 file which cannot be used in build 600

This is the simplest solution of the lot.......lol

The new coding language has got me pulling my hair out........

You have 2 languages in the new builds......mq4.5 and mq5.......

I have decided to go for mq5 as this is the direction that MetaQuotes is pushing us in........

but i must say it is making my head Greyer......But we will overcome i say..........

interesting point of view, you are on the right track for the Basket Trading
In my 4 years experience about basket trading,I can say that 8 pairs strictly follows usd and jpy moves, these being the bones of the 14 pairs original basket.
I've seen some good basket moves with a poor final profit (300\400 pips) due to non related usd-jpy pairs (CHF and eurgbp)
I use to think to the 8pairs just like a "golden" selection from 14 pairs

the pairs are=GBPJPY,EURUSD,GBPUSD,AUDUSD,NZDUSD,EURJPY,AUDJPY,NZDJPY
no hidden secret 'cos it 's the original kosomolate approach

lately I scored good results with a 10 pairs basket,but I've find out that GBP(4pairs) and JPY (6p) Baskets are the most profitable,good R:R
but I like your idea about yen and usd groups

thx, I see it on this thread, if im not rong Omavidi trade the jpy pairs...then i got this idea, and start thinking how to modificate basket14pairs, but with that, help me a friend *vamtop* how is a member of this forum and have good succes on basket trading..i posted some results of our acoount of live tranding basket14 ixo 1060 and 2ixo 1060+1500 in this thread..and we steel tranding it on 4 live accounts.
This theme does not developt more, coz I think all traders arround here traiding this metod, and make profits, they dont have any question...coz system its very simple and powerfull tool if you have good MM.
About basket yen i must say that this chart may be trade separatly like core 5, and its work thery well.
On the pic its what hapen now on the market with two baskets 14 and 7 yen..if work with ixo signals we must selling the basket on the open of this week..

same bug has appeared the h4 current basket candle is "jumping" every new tick with a big difference in candle open close high low

i am using 600 and cannot update with my platform

Can u pls post the 7 usd pairs and 7 jpy pairs u combined?
If u are kind enough, u can post the indicators for creating both 7usd and 7jpy pairs?

If you have the new version of MT you must put the indicator in the following folder

C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\A6xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\MQL4\Indicators

Trigger basket USD in EURUSD H1 chart and the basketJPY in GBPJPY H1 chart
Don't forget to allow DLL and the import of external expert
Now you have just to open the offline chart.

The job is done.
