Even if it is the service provider that failed, it is still Oanda's fault for having such a lousy service provider. I wonder how many clients are gonna abandon Oanda after this.

It is weird, Oanda is down everywere, USA, Canada, Asia, Europe, I don't think they are using just one central location for all accounts, even a newbie IT tech would never advise this. I think there is more than a simple outage.

Had it not been for this outage, I would have already closed 2 trades that became even more profitable now. So so far so good for me here... the only questions is if they fix it soon enough for me to close the trades, or if I will be just watching the gain falling back to the basement...

Glad I left this broker for good few days ago. Forexaccount is right. There is no way a company as big as Oanda hosts all of its business on one server.
