nice stress free trade... but TP is very important as with Gbp/Jpy you can always give profits back.

I'm hanging onto this one for my original TP level of 17,190, hopefully sometime tomorrow. Moved SL up to 170.25

Nice ...I took about 58+ pips from that move at 170.16 to 170.75 But why do you think it will break through 170.97....it hasnt done that all week and you taking a profitable trade into a ranging intraweek market ?

Sell it. The BOJ is expected to increase the bond buying by 10 bilion dollars a month in the spring, some analysts say summer. Either way it's quite some time away from now. No new catalyst to break out to new highs now. I would be really surprised to see a rush past 172 now but hey it happens and sometimes for no apparent reason too.

I know what you are saying, and I may wish I'd closed it for 50 odd pips, but I never hold a trade overnight without what I consider to be good reason, and although we have been ranging I have some indicators that show me it is worth holding this one. We'll see in the morning.

Today also dull rangebound expected, some fireworks on unemployment data, By tomorrow it should give clear indication what it is upto... For me upside is capped. Lets see if SL taken on shorts.

Nice !!! Wish you GL in your trade altho I do think that you may be in some for pain before it goes your way. This is what im looking at and Ill be looking for short entry at that zone.
As with probabilities anything can happen and analysis can change based on intraday price movement. Might consider long if price comes down to the early 170.30 zone during frankfurt

Oh there's no pain, if ir goes my way sweet, if not it's not a problem. I'm picking off small trades whilst I keep this open anyway.

Oh dear! It's pushing back down to H4 200ema, and with the 200sma now having just crossed beneath it, this is quite a bullish signal, so will look for a reaction soon.
