really? I'm on IC and I'm stuck with 600. Don't use scripts so can't say much about them, but I see an integrated signals, code base, and markets tab in the terminal window.

If you don't use EA's I strongly recommend you guys check out cTrader. I find it much cleaner and easier to work with.

With all the flak we give brokers when we get negative slippage, I thought I would post this example of positive slippage in my ICMarkets account. I had 5 short positions open just prior to todays flash pmi. With Oanda or any other broker I have used in the past I would have got my price and no more however, they dont hesitate to apply slippage when it is negative. With ICMarkets ecn I got the best fill possible which was up to 17 pips better than my TP order. I was only shooting for 5 pips but ended up with more than three times that due to positive slip.

I was lucky this time but I am going to be more careful in the future around releases

Awesome! Always good to be the beneficiary of some substantial positive slippage every now and then, though yeah, one definitely shouldn't bank on it. After all, slippage is an edge which cuts both ways, and occasionally you'll find yourself on the business end; always a possibility with real market exposure, particularly during times of high volatility.


That said, Neteller and Poli (for Australian banks) funding methods are now available at ICM; deposits for both are fully functional.

Neteller withdrawals are currently in the process of being integrated with the client portal as I understand.

It seems to work fine and then I get an error message saying that it is not compatible with the current server. After I close this message the terminal disappears and takes the chart with all my analysis with it!

Wait, does the mini-terminal still work for you? I haven't bothered after the so called new build 400 I think. MetaQuotes was cracking down on 3rd party developers and what not so broker modifications no longer worked and EAs that used DLL files neither.

As for the miniterminal, I can't really speak to it since I've never really used that functionality, though as I understand per jhehe third party instances of it are definitely disabled since build 400.


Also, further news about Neteller withdrawals: ETA is about 3-4 weeks according to IC Markets.

Thank you Layzars and thank you I.C markets.

They werent able to apply my rebates instantly cause I was always in a position. I complained to Kyle (Layzars), my IB and he got assurances they would back pay me from when I signed up. True to their word they actually got someone to go over my trades and repaid my IB discount.

It was only $45 but thats 3% of my account balance so it meant alot to me. The point is they bothered to get someone to actually go over more than 60 trades of various position sizes so they could pay me back some commission that, lets face it, was probably not worth worrying about

Thats a customer service focused broker and an IB that actually does something for their money

Only if they can erase the charges for traders outside of Australia who're trying to give them money and in the future taking their own money back.

Hey guys, for those who didn't get the e-mail about Daylight Savings Time, and the new time zone UTC+3 offset for IC Markets, here it is verbatim:


IC Markets will be changing the time zone offset on the server over the weekend. We will be changing the server time from UTC+2 to UTC+3 so it will be moving forward one hour. This change is in accordance with the Forex market session time changes due to Daylight Saving Time in the United States on Sunday 9th March 2014, and it remains in effect until Sunday 2nd November, 2014. The MetaTrader 4 platform time will remain at a market open of 00:00:00, and a market close of 23:59:59 throughout the year.

The new trading hours starting from Monday March 10th, 2014 are listed below

Market Open
21:00 GMT Sunday evening (09-03-2014) – 00:00 Platform time Monday morning (10-03-2014)

Market Close
21:00 GMT Friday evening – 00:00 Platform time Saturday morning

Once England and Europe changes to DST on March 30th, 2014 we will observe the times below.

Market Open
22:00 BST (GMT+1) Sunday evening – 00:00 Platform time Monday morning

Market Close
22:00 BST (GMT+1) Friday evening – 00:00 Platform time Saturday morning
