thx, took half off @ 169.89 and moved Sl to BE ...final target @ 170.30 will go catch some zzzz's and check back when NY opens . Cheers

Trade in nice profit now from just missing my SL by 0.7 pips LOL

SL moved to BE+10 pips target 172.00/173.00 of course we need to get above 171.00 and close above this level!

You may not be able to see it on the hourly charts but if you check the 15 mins the bull run was very slow getting up and have made its intraday 3rd push already. May still go up as trading is is unpredictable but from experience and high probability set ups, NY session usually sends this opposite London

Was hoping for a better short entry but managed @ 170.58 will be looking to hold this till friday afternoon. we can see on the 4hrly charts that we have been making lower highs so far for a while now, combined with the piercing of the 50 SMA . Whatever bullish momentum/trend we had is fading fast and the bears are rushing in full force. happy pip hunting cheers

yeah but we have to get past 169.00 - 169.25 zone first. In any event will be looking to take 1st profit @ 169.75 and final @ around that 169.00 to 25 zone. If we can just get the bulls off the train, they really putting up a tough fight. Anyway done for the day, gl to everyone

Here's what I think: for yen to weaken it would require inflation or economic data in Japan to start faltering (that's happening), for yen to strengthen we would need a risk off environment ( euro crisis resolved, US debt problems kicked down the road, china...who knows the truth)...Gbp to strengthen or weaken all dependent on economic data which is strong to mixed right now...so I think GBp/yen will strengthen further...

Just look at the H4 chart, and look at the successive highs all the way through February up to the peak on the 18th. But now we have had two successive lows including today, with the 200ema still acting as support. We're definitely in range mode with the price right now poised in the middle of the range. If my arm was twisted I'd say we'll head down again from here towards the H4 200ema again, but really it's a tough call. See what it looks like early tomorrow morning. Time for beauty sleep.

Its meandering in a very small range so far, decided to close the short trade for 20+ pips. No sense in leaving an open trade with not enough momentum. There is also the possibility of price moving up to 171.00 before falling back down. Just have to wait till frankfurt to see, Cheers.
