Well you know, I've been with them for a long time... 2007 I think... I just spoke to a manager and they said is purely a technical error so I'm not gonna let them down that easy. I've screwed up in my life too. I know to forgive too.

Hi Tony, I am very glad that things are not as bad as they seem with your broker (under the circumstances). Blessings.

Anyway, everyone, please do not flame me but I have entered a ECAD buy already, in anticipation of the news in 90 mins time. I will not be at my platform at that time, and I do not want to possibly lose out. I have entered with reduced lot size, with a wider SL just in case...(this is based on always buying and CAD weakness, I just hope that there is not a retrace after yesterdays CAD move...)

I hope that this works out. I have already missed out on the AUD move just past...Man, I really need to be able to get up @ 3am local time... I used to do it when I worked in the gold mines...but, at 40, the old body does not always want to play ball.

Everyone don't forget:

French Flash and German Flash come out 2 minutes before FF listed time!!!! it means at :58 and at :28.
Your trades must be placed at :56 and at :26

Don't get screwed over this time!

But if we place our trades 2 mins before the news comes out, how can we know what the data is, which ultimately will effect which way it goes..

Yes I agree with you there, but given it comes out 2 mins before everyone else gets it they have a huge advantage..

I spoke to a manager there and I'm talking honestly here... In about 7 years it has happened once...or twice but the other time it was something else... they didn't respect a SL which they left untouched for about 3 days!!.. other than those 2 occasions nothing. It should be an exception. We will notice the truth tonight with the upcoming FLASH reports. The wide spread shouldn't last more than a few seconds.

If you'd like to keep an eye on them dukascopy releases a video called 'spike controller' every hour to keep other brokers in check for fairness and manipulation. They also release another one daily for daily and 4 hour bars.. if you go to their site and look the video section titled 'forex and market' you should find it with one click to the right.
